Like the fse250 content, seems you live in a great place for riding! Im 10yrs behind you but have been riding since I was a kid and dualsport since I was a teen. Have a couple of mainstream bikes but picked up a Templar X a year ago and I believe it is quite similar to your fse albeit with lesser spec items. The bike very much reminds me of the XR's I had growing up but with better suspension and frame geometry. Its been very enjoyable for light duty dualsport with zero problems beyond those self inflicted. Looking forward to your riding vids.
@michaeldavison430 thanks 😊 still have my xr250r with a 280 kit and hot cam. I alternate between the two . My wife and son are riding ktm's. Take a look at my dirt playlist and happy trails 😊
Glad you are enjoying your GPX. My 2021 fse250e has been a great bike. I always wanted an xr250r with e-start and good suspension, and this bike checks those boxes quite well. The motor is very smooth, and the 6 speed tranny is well spaced for dual sporting. For trail riding and backroad exploring, this bike is ideal.
Still have my 02 xr250r with a 280 kit and hot cam. It's still a great bike . Rode it 30 miles after work last night. I wish I could combine the two. Wanted a new bike but didn't want to spend 12k . You can see more of them on my dirt playlist. Thanks 😊
@scavenger-wj8bu Still can't let my 02 xr250r go . I alternate between the two. Have a 280 kit and hot cam and some other upgrades. Just doesn't handle as well. I'm 64 and hadn't ridden in 30 years until a couple years ago. Picked up the xr for 2200.
If you look at my "dirt" Playlist there's a few videos of the xr. Should be able to pick one up reasonably priced. Still a great bike that will take me anywhere. And a little bit lighter.
@24carrera Prootom slipper clutch on Amazon. 70$ had it almost a year and works great. Rode yesterday. Says it's similar to a recluse, but I don't notice anything different.
I've had it for 2 years . It's very cold blooded. I have to let it idle for about 10 minutes. After that it starts and runs great all day. Suspension in good power is comparable to my xr250r. Only problem I've had is getting stuck in some clay . I burned up the clutch. I didn't want to spend 12k plus on a new crfx or a euro bike. I'm a decent intermediate rider. It does everything I need. Lots of torque, electric start is great .if there isn't a dealer near you , you can save by having it sent directly to your house. Light assembly, like front wheel and handle bars. The importer USA motor toys /Gpxmoto has been very supportive since my dealer closed up. Check out my dirt playlist for more of this bike. Also look at pharrat faces channel for more info. A few different carbs are available on Amazon that might reduce the warm up time. I'm used to mine now and it's fine for me . I'm at about 700.miles. low maintenance, change oil, clean air filter. Good luck 👍
@fattie2550 yeah , just looked at it. That's great 👍 also wondering what the S model is about. I don't think you'll be disappointed. My dealer was worthless after the sale, so no loss there. Jeff at gpxmoto parts was great to deal with. What are you riding now? I still ride my xr250r also. Let me know what happens.
where are you riding? looks awesome. thanks for the content!

Just north of reno nv. Thanks for watching. Been pretty cold here, about 35 degrees when I made this video.
Snowed quite a bit right after. 😊
moving to casa grande az if a couple weeks!!
Nice . I'm 64 and about done with the snow ❄️
Trying to get one but their out of stock
Not sure where you are
I see a couple on cycle trader in NJ
Gpx not saying when their back in stock
Too bad. Great bike at a great price. The shop I bought mine from just closed. I didn't have 12k to spend on a Honda or a European bike.
The same, looking to get back into trail riding, and gpx got me interested in their line up

Is this bike reliable? The research I have done are mixed.

@@Billsdayoff The new model that just came out has fuel injection. I wonder if that will fix the issue you are having.
@@fattie2550 The 250 has fuel injection? The 300 had it.
@@Billsdayoff yes the new 250E has Fuel Injection now. I have a dealer 40 minutes away and another that is 2 hours away.
