Did you ever try the swimming comparison again? Seems like there's a big enough difference in the two that you could take your pulse manually to tell which is correct (for instance right before turning off).

I found after 18 months of semi regular use my OH1+ battery decreased to a couple hours and it would not hold charge for more than a day. Otherwise I would say the Polar Optical HRM is the best on the market. Accurate, records and does swimming.

Im pretty happy with the results, as i also have to compare on my other hand the Garmin Fenix 7 Pro and lately i use the Garmin Instinct 2X Solar. I would like to know if i can buy and use the verity sense to check the pulse rate on the Polar V3 instead of the measurement from sensor on the watch. I would like to have better heart rate results if possible, but the same time to monitor on the watch the heart rate come form the Verity sense. Is that possible?

I have to wear the Rhythm+ on my forearm, as upper arm tattoos seem to effect the HRM. I don't suppose you've heard if this is the case with the Verity Sense? (It's only a minor issue in the summer, as I develop a lower arm stripe like I've a perfect circle of sun cream on my firearm 😂)

    • @DesFit

FitBit really keep to themselves with data... I haven’t been successful in sending any raw data to fitbit that wasn’t originally recorded on a fitbit device, but hopefully at some point in the future they fix that! I do know that you can sync some platforms together (like FB and Strava, MyFitnessPal, etc) so you may have luck on that route!

  •  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks for the review!
While it works with Garmin devices; what's the HR that will show on the watch screen while it's connected and you're out for a run? The onboard HR, or the HR that's being read from the Verity sense? For example, the HRM-Pro pushes the data to the Fenix and shows it live on the screen while working out.
...And that same data will sync to Garmin connect, right, in place of the watches onboard HR?
