I'm planning on getting an electric guitar in a few days. I really wanna learn how to play Mono's songs, and seeing this makes me motivated and very happy.
hey man loved ur performance, im trying to cover few songs of Mono too and i have a question :) do you think humbucker pickups is a must? i do play on highway one tele and cleans are great but not sure about distortion and noise parts, planning to buy a noisegate soon, so would that be enough or should i go for some humbucker guitar? also did you learn the song by ear? im really bad at that and i couldnt find this song's lead parts on internet :D is it too much if i ask for them? hehe anyway ur performance is great i hope you cover more Mono pieces, they are art!
hey mate, sorry for the lateness in my answer... i was very busy these last months. to play mono songs, i think the best option is the single coil. the clean tone is more similar with a tele, as taka and yoda uses jazzmaster and strat respectively. and answering the second question, i learn all the songs by ear. i don't know how to read tabs... thanks for watching my friend!
hey! thank you so much buddy! if you have an analog delay, put the feedback at maximum level, and the delay time at minimum. the signal starts to repeat and creating this noisy sound... then you can turn the delay time knob both ways to create this effect! cheers!
