I’m skeptical about ordering from Billy or Mia, because I’ve talked to both and it just seems a little sketch. How do I know I will receive what I’m paying for? There isn’t much online about either one of the companies nor can I really find honest reviews.
To be honest both do seem sketchy haha but they are both legit. If you contact Mia and agree on what you want, she’ll send you a link and you complete the payment and everything through alibaba.com.. through billy seems even more sketchy because once you agree on what you want, he gives you an email address that you send money through PayPal to. I have made multiple purchases from both of them and they are both legit.
@@terjavec Is there a good (budget) locator you recommend or they all the same? Can you link to buy? Qytecco seems like the golden horse of budget drain cameras so wondering if there is an equivalent for the locator.

I wouldn’t say the sonde is bad, it’s just not as strong as ridgid. My record with the Qyteco so far was 13’ deep but usually after like 8’ the signal gets weak

I really don't understand how Ridgid's cheapest monitor option is like $3,000 and it's tiny. Personally I think a monitor should be at least 10". Does anyone know of an aftermarket monitor system that's affordable? The solution I came up with was to buy the LT1000 control module (now discontinued) used for $500 & pair it with a $100 10" windows based tablet with the Seesnake HQ software (Windows only) then pack it all into a Ridgid toolbox. Yes, it means carrying in an extra case & takes a couple extra mins to set up but I saved like $4k. I think my setup compares better to the cs12 monitor ($5K) due to larger screen size and internal hard drive on tablet where job footage is stored. I have since bought another LT1000 as a back up.
