Came here from the Majuular video. What a beautiful craftsmanship of a song, really alluring and enticing in it's own way, with a very subtle creepy undertone that's fitting of a horror game. Will definetly play the game when I have a spare time
As a person who stumbled on Koudelka looking through ISOs in the early 2010s and wondering why I had never heard of it, it just brings me such joy anytime brings attention to it. Great video from Majuular, it was only the second of his I've seen, but I started to rectify that.
You too, huh? Yeah. I heard of Koudelka and even may have glimpsed it on a gaming magazine once during the Pokemon Gold and Silver hype and Shadow Hearts is a game I wished I got to play so this may give me the boost to go out and try it out.
yeah! I really love the monsters, they look fuckin freaky. The battles, however, should've just felt more tense with how strange the monsters are designed. Some of the bosses, when they get up in your party's face, are really creepy and I feel like if there was just a little bit more "scary" design to the actual battles this game would be remembered way more by people...
I can't believe it's been 21 Years since i played this game and heard this music. this music and ''Incantation'' are unique, basic yet complex, dark yet hopeful .
A strange choice for the battle music of a horror game, but that's part of why I love it. It stands out as a result. It's a great piece, and I sometimes let a battle drag out just to keep hearing it.
i haven't even played this game, i just came across it two days ago, and i'm listening to it's phenomenal ost nonstop now. how was this gem able to escape my sight for so long!?
I played it a while back an it was really fun to play; Not too hard, not too long. And let's be honest, with a battle song like this you just can't wait for the random encounters to happen, can you?
I played this masterpiece last week and yesterday I finished it. I feel so empty right now, I spent a total of, more or less, 20h... I just love this theme, and Incantation Again (the boss battle). I fell in love with this incredible story. I put it on my Top 3 Games.
Props to Kikuta for creating his own studio and making terrifying RPG such as this. I'm gonna play this game thoroughly at some point but it's so dark game for my tastes I'm not gonna tackle it just yet.
Thanks for the song. It's really pretty and a bit melancolic too I think. I played that game when I was a child but never completed it (I died during a random fight lol).
Amazing battle theme. The game was incredibly origional and i appreciate games that dont follow the same troupes. Only downfall being a very slow game made it such a hard sell to the masses.
