The irony of Dave Meltzer pulling a WCW and attacking before the bell starts on an episode about WCW world championships is not lost on me.

I went back and tried to rewatch wcw a few years back mostly for the ppvs that were too expensive to get at the time. It was a rough, rough watch.

I got to 23 as well. Hase was my downfall, I knew I was missing the Japanese wrestler who held the international belt but couldn't remember who so just guessed 3 I remembered from Nitro appearances Chono, Muta, Tenzan

I was surprisingly able to name every single one, even though I'm too young to have grown up with WCW. But it's obviously way easier when you're at home and can take notes to keep track. It kinda goes to show that they were very protective of who got to hold the title... aside from Russo and Arquette lmao.

As much as I am a fan of Jim Cornette and the constant poking fun of Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez, I am glad to see them in Survival Series.
