    Sama Rice Pulao or as you may call it Vrat ke Pulao is prepared from Samak Chawal/Barnyard Millet. This pulao is eaten mainly during the time of festivities when people fast during the daytime and are allowed only to eat one meal in a day. Sama Rice Pulao has minimal spices and lots of veggies. Here I have added potatoes only.You can also add beans and other veggies to make the pulao more flavorful. This Pulao also has roasted peanuts and cashews to give it a crunchy punch. Sama Rice Pulao makes a great wholesome meal alongside curd, pickle or chutney. Here I have prepared a Tadkawala Raita and Spicy Green Chutney alongside it. You don't need an extra vegetable to have this pulao. It's super delicious and keeps you full for a longer period of time.     Sama Rice Pulao
    Ingredients :
    1. 1 Cup of Sama Rice
    2. 2 tbsp Ghee
    3. Some Cashew Nuts
    4. Some Raw Peanuts
    5. 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
    6. 2 Chopped Green Chillies
    7. Some Whole Spices
    8. 1 tsp Grated Ginger
    9. Some Curry Leaves
    10. 1 Diced Potato
    11. 1 tsp Roasted Jeera Masala
    12. 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder)
    13. Rock Salt to Taste
    14. Chopped Coriander Leaves
    15. 2 Slit Green Chillies
    16. 2 Cups of Water
    17. Lemon Juice
    For Raita :
    18. 1/2 Cup Curd
    19. 1 tsp Ghee
    20. 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
    21. 1 Chopped Green Chillies
    22. Some Curry Leaves
    23. 1/4 tsp Roasted Jeera Masala
    24. Chopped Coriander Leaves
    25. Some Pomegranate
    For Green Chutney :
    26. Coriander Leaves
    27. Diced Ginger
    28. 2 Green Chillies
    29. Rock Salt to Taste
    30. Lemon Juice
