I'm so happy that you share it via this channel. I lost touch with skating after I left school. These kind of videos has really lifted up my skating spirits. Thanks to you. 🍻 Cheers man
Thank you my man...I've been skating for 25+ years and only recently started seeing some cats doing this move and noone could explain it to me...this helps tremendously...definitely about to drill this and add it to my flow 👊🏾🔥🖤
Jeez I didn’t know this existed. Just did some spins for the first time. Startin to feel comfortable doin it. So fun. If I can get better at this trip, do cartwheels and decent wall rides,I think I will be happy with my progress this summer.
That's awesome man! Ive seen many people do this, but, never really understood it until you just pointed out that it's one central point. Now i think ill give it a shot. You sure have a unique and one-off way of explaining skating moves. It makes understanding them so much easier!
I’m glad it helps! I know for myself, when I’m learning new things that I’m not familiar with, I gravitate toward information that is broken down so that I can see the fine details individually. Once I understand them on their own, I can combine them all to see the bigger picture. So that’s the approach I try to use here. I’ve found that each time I challenge myself to make a tutorial, I end up understanding the move better than before, because teaching it forces me to question my own understanding and fix ideas I may have been wrong about.
Thanks I appreciate all your tutorials my man tried the head to toe and it was a success after only one session. Keep up the work can't wait to try the corkscrew. 5 🌟
I'm tryng to learn this "magic" for a long time.. now i think a can. Thanks, you're the best. Keep going with this great videos, you're a really good teacher ;)
I've been trying to get this spin in my dictionary but I loose almost all momentum once I get into the corkscrew position/shape. Is it that my wheels are fat? (I'm running 62x40 wheels) Is it because I'm on sidewalk concrete?
@@DeezSkates I can feel this years gonna be big 4 inline here in florida stuff is growing i have seen 4 skaters in orlando over the weekend at a couple different parks so high hopes for this year!!! the community is just getting bigger & bigger!!
Could u do another wheel video? Not the high price wheels though. One for indoor wheels. I usually skate outdoor wheels. Moxi outdoor 62mm wheels, 57mmpink frost outdoor wheels, 57mm radar energy wheels (my fav),57mm fundae hybrids, and 62mm luminous wheels. I skate outside in spring and summer everyday, but i also skate rinks 1-4 times a week. I broke my wrist last feb so i took it easy and am hesitant getting into skating. I finally started to get brave enough to try indoor wheels. I bought some suregrip velvet wheels. Dont know the hardness. I tried them at a nasty rink floor. They werent any faster than my various outdoor wheels. They are vanathane wheels. My goal is to jb skate with mostly rhythm skate. These floors at the rinks i skate are filthy. 1. Should i just go for the "fomac slicks " i was looking at? 2. Could u give me advice on how loose my wheels and my trucks and which trucks should be loose without breaking my neck? Please do a video on loosening and how much. There are no videos about it
I may cover this topic eventually. Ultimately the answer to all these issues comes down to personal preference. Your current ability and the style you as a skater are developing play a big roll in what kind of wheels you need for which surfaces, whether indoor or outdoor. Also, the same goes for trucks and cushions, but I could do an episode on how energy transfers through the skate parts to the floor and that may help people to decide how they want to proceed with their builds. 🤔 I’m packing up my things to move currently, but I will be making new episodes starting end of the month. I’ll put some of this in my list of things to talk about.
That’s a good question, but difficult to answer in text.. I would say the best thing is to lightly swing your arms at first. If you look closely, while I’m doing the toe spin I talk about in the beginning I am pushing into the back inside edge of the circling foot. For a normal two foot spin without the cork screw, you would pump by pushing the the back inside edge of the foot that travels forward, and the front inside edge of the foot that travels backward. I hope that helps.
Years ago I bought a pair of VNLA Grape Ades, which are the same build as the Mint and Code Red, just a different color scheme. I didn’t care for them. If I remember correctly, the trucks are single action so the adjustments they allow for is very little.. and they’re rather cheaply made.
I did heat mold the Evos, but I think I remember reading that the Tau is not heat moldable. I would email Powerslide directly to make sure before doing it.
Deez Skates the new ones are heat moldable that’s one of the only new features besides the colors and they actually come with spinner wheels instead of the undercover wheels that come on the other ones and the evo
In that case, heat molding decreases the break-in time. I don’t feel it’s absolutely required, but if you have any spaces in the boot you wish were maybe a little more comfortable it will definitely help.
I want to start filming myself, Skate. Unfortunately, with nine months off I could be a lot better. But I feel like I could keep up with you and the people you collaborate with by the way, some really good collaborations. I was trying it and nailed it on my first day, but I did it in the reverse direction. Is it still cool? Very glad I found this video when I did I’m having a ball. 🙏
@@DeezSkates ok, cool. gotta say tho, you made the best of that dusty ole twin ghost downtowns as a backdrop, tho. I've been thru there many a time and you made it look cool, even cosmopolitan. lol at any rate, keep on, keepin on dave✌
Titus. I always have a list of tutorials that I'm working on. I have plans to make a tutorial about that eventually, but there are plenty that I've already got planned out. This one I've been trying to work in for a few months now. Stick around. It'll happen eventually. ;)
Hi Vivien. This move is somewhat advanced. If it’s beyond your skill level at the moment you might try something else and come back to it later. Cheers!
The best spinning training video on the inline skates. Love it! Thank you so much for making such great quality of contents.

i was struggling with toe spins in general, but the way you broke them down really makes it clear!!

You are so good at explaining these moves. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
We really enjoy your skate videos, Ty for sharing. They encourage our Skaters to skate.

Loved this tutorial! Thank you so much
Great tutorial. I didn’t realize you were in Dallas. I recognized Texas Skatium.

Wait... Is that Texas skatium In the beginning?
Yup. I live about two miles from there, next to Lake Ray Hubbard. 😁
@@DeezSkates awesome! I go there all the time! Saw Kye and instantly knew! 😂 I see him all the time there. Awesome! Great video by the way :)
I like the music
so this has to be done with no stoppers??
@DeezSkates How do you "push" to start the spin? Do you push out with the outside foot?

Hey David I was wondering if you heatmolded your hardcore evos I recently bought a pair of taus and I’m not sure weather or not I should heatmold
