If Shakky was younger than 18 when Mihawk was born I automatically would err on the side of no because Oda doesn't seem to have minors giving birth in his story. You would still have to find a way to tie Mihawk to Shakky or Rayleigh past Mihawk has black hair. We still don't know Shakky's full name, so it's possible though unlikely Mihawk inherited his name from her instead of Rayleigh. Luffy is the grandson of the legendary marine Garp and the son of the leader of the revolutionary army. Not to mention the protege of one of the yonko. Ace is the son of one of the most famous criminals of all time and the adopted grandson of Garp. Not to mention both Luffy and Ace are from the clan of 'D'. Meanwhile Sabo is merely a member of one of several noble families in some backwater kingdom.

It kinda reminds me of yugioh 5ds (which was 2 years earlier than luffy's flashback) with domino city being split into two, and the half where Yugi lived got turned into the satellite (equivalent to the gray terminal), while the other half was transformed into new domino city (basically a super fancy, luxurious city). They were eventually merged back into one city though. I can see something similar happening to the Gray Terminal.
It's also unlikely it's the same pipe because it fits his size while he was younger and now. If it was the same it would either be too big for him then or too small for him now

A thought on why Sabo stuck with the pipe; Besides being something he remembered during his amnesia, it's kind of a perfect melee weapon for an infiltrator. 1. Customizable. He could easily extend it as he grew up. It's not /a/ pipe, it's several sections of pipe with fittings and connectors. 2. Totally innocuous. Disassemble it, and he could literally just stick it in a bag and walk in disguised as a plumber, and a literary convention is that guards will /almost always/ ignore someone who looks like a workman with tools or a ladder. 3. Easy to replace. Like, you could re-create that staff out of random bits you could find in any maintainence closet, or just rip them out of the plumbing. Sabo could even go in completely unarmed and make one on the spot if he had to.
Well you need to remember the mountains. In Japan it really is like that. Towns can be less than 100 kilometers away from a big city and still be very isolated since the mountains block access.

In that video, there is a man holding in the center of the screen a doll that look very similar to Carrot. This is about 400 episode before Carrot is ever introduced. I figured I should point this out since you love Carrot so much.

I feel like Sabo still uses a metal pipe as its a common item anyone could pick up and use. Sabo uses it as proof that anyone can fight the WG.

Sabo is slowly turning his metal pipe into a Saijo O Wazamono metal pipe. That's why he keeps it around and hasn't switched to another weapon. He'd have to start all over on making it a black weapon if he did.

next arc - luffy's family (revolutionary pirates)
This also makes sense because one of the next 2 arc is likely about Shanks and his crew, Blackbeard and his crew and Dragon and the Revolutionaries.
No I have a feeling next arc will be about Usopp's family, as Elbaf seems like their destination. Stuff with the revolutionaries will likely be endgame stuff at Raftel.

The Shanks and his crew part is not the point I'm disagree with (as it wasn't there when I was typing), I'm disagreeing with you about the Luffy's family part, cause I'm certain we'll focus on Usopp during Elbaf, and Luffy's will be saved for the last if we get it. Also, I personally don't think Oda's gonna touch on Luffy's family much more, cause we already know his family name and two biological members of his family. We didn't know Zoro's or Sanji's or Usopp's (which in Usopp's case is kinda weird cause we know who his parents are, so it has to be touched on).
The pipe is obviously a trademark weapon for Sabo.

You should make a video about Oda’s portrayal of the ugly art style of the royals and tenryuubito, also why some royals are exempt like sabo or doffy and rosinante. Another is mjosgard he kinda grew out of the ugly art style after his change of heart.
