Digital Perm

What is a Digital Perm? It's the same process involving perming your hair with hot-rollers which are connected to a heating system. The hot-rollers are hooked up to a machine which produces heat. Because the rollers are hot they can't be brought too close to your scalp or it will get burned, but this also means that only the bottoms of your hair will be permed. So when you only curl the ends of your hair your curls will be more soft and natural looking.

I just don't get this Digital? Looks like a old time stack roll. Curl size determined by the size of the perm rod and perms now have chemical heat activators to process. What is so special about this????? There was a uniperm in the 80's, same theory. Clamps heated on a machine to clamp on perm rods to process.

Hot perms hold a curl when it's dry so it's a lot more wash and wear. Where as the cold perms require a bunch of gel to have a visible curl. Cold perms are only curly when wet. Hot perms always look curly and natural.

Hairstylist just learned today this exists. So cool and looks so natural like a curling iron. I prefer the softer look to the PERMED look.

Of course just make curly perm,look like so beautiful. .after view days, not look beautiful anymore. ..perm is,not good as old model curly

That's how I wanted mine to look. I got a solar perm. I have waves in areas I don't want any and the rest might as well not have been done at all, and I have super fine hair. $175 down the drain.
