For the record, it is okay to be in your mid-late twenties and not know what you want to do. It’s also okay to live with your parents to save up money to be where you actually want to be. Keep being real Hannah!

Piggy backing off this comment which is 10000% true.
I’m an older millennial and love watching your content. But we all go through that crisis with, what am I doing with my life? Should I do something completely new? That is all normal.
I’m also really glad to hear that you’ve been applying to some jobs. Now I’m not saying be part of the 9-5 cog but I think having a boss could really push you or ask you those difficult questions. What do YOU want out of this? How do you see yourself in 5 years? You don’t need to have the answers but having someone push you to be your best self really does make the difference.
All in all just saying, you’re killing it, and you will figure it out. Plus, we’re all just faking it till we make it

Congrats on 800k girl!!!! I love the honest and real chat!
TBH as a corporate girly who is working hard to become a full-time content creator... I understand what you're saying, but the honest truth is that TIME is the best value of all. And you have that NOW! If you wanna travel the world, you get two weeks out of the whole year to do that in the corporate world... and you can't take two weeks at once. So if you want to travel the world... DO IT NOW! Go live your life, be based out of your parents house and travel the world. Getting caught in the corporate life is the last thing I recommend, but I'm proud of your growth mindset! YOU GOT IT

Being in my late thirties, i can tell you no matter what age you are, its ok not to know what to do and/or try to find out what type of work makes you happy. Same thing with dating. I was working for a company that unexpectedly closed, so now its reapplying back in the workforce, so now I've learned that if i dont like a job, you dont have to stay forever, like i did cause it was way comfortable. Also, i figured out what work made me more happy so now i look for work in the field which makes me happy to go to work. So in conclusion, just keep keeping it real Hannah 😊

I read a book a while back that I think was called Light from uncommon stars and a quote that really stuck with me was "Tomorrow is tomorrow. Over there is over there. And the here and now is not a bad time and place to be, especially when so much of the unknown is beautiful."
I've really tried to live by that recently. It's a much more positive approach to life. You got this!

I loved the little bit around 19:00 where you mentioned liking watching other people do "boring" stuff (and that it makes you happy when people say that to you) because while I don't really watch that many vloggers, I love having stuff to watch that feels like I'm watching a friend on FT. All my friends atm are long distance, and I work from home, so it's really easy to get lonely, and having videos like this are awesome because there's no pressure to also be presentable for a FT call (because that can get exhausting). I've really loved having your videos around to watch for the past few years. Your mid-20s can be a super weird time where you feel really lost (going through the same thing rn), so I get it, and I think whatever you end up doing and trying and pursuing, you'll be fantastic ❤

“When your hobby turns into your lifeline, it’s not a hobby anymore”
Thank you for saying this! I don’t think doing what we love for a career has to be our #1 hobby. Maybe you will love the corporate world but it will also be JUST work and you can come home to your hobbies.

I really hope you see this because I want you to know how much comfort your videos bring me! Please don’t ever feel like you’re putting out boring/repetitive content. Your “mundane” day in life videos are my favorite! I’ll watch them multiple times because it truly feels like chatting with a friend on FaceTime (total parasocial relationship 😬). I’ve had a lifelong dream of living in NYC, so I love living vicariously through you in your day-to-day vlogs. Also, quick side note, I turned 30 this year and I think that feeling of “what am I doing with my life?” never really goes away… because how will we ever know if we’re making the right decisions? Just gotta live in the moment and enjoy the ride ❤

Sonder: german word for the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own, in which you might appear only once. Describes really well what you were saying about realising other people also have their whole lives!

Hannah, you literally articulate your (and my) feelings so well. Everything I do it never feels right and I still don’t have it figured out. I just turned 30 and can definitely relate to this in terms of thinking about EVERYTHING, anxious about who likes me or if everybody likes me. My brain is exhausting I’m sure you can relate. It’s nice hearing you talk about it and it makes me feel less alone but I hope you know how proud I am of you (I’m literally nobody but have been following you forever) and watching you figure it out is a blessing and it feels like we’re figuring it out together. Sending you so much love ❤

Love these sitdown videos. I’ve been doing Gel X nail for the past 5 months I think by myself and I love it. Two tips: 1st: buy a goose neck UV lamp to curate individual nails! It’s easier to just point it to nail instead of putting your hand under the UV light. 2nd: when you apply the gel on the nail add a little blob of gel in the free edge so it adheres to your own nail better! It makes it last forever. And please come to Brazil! Would love to have you here! ❤

hannah!!! as a 26 y/o who has always wanted to make youtube videos consistently (literally would love for that to be my job) but is currently working as a freelance videographer for a small social media marketing agency, it is SO interesting to hear you talk about how you feel like that's what you might be missing! i'm constantly feeling like i'm "too late" to try something new / go in a different direction and it feels like there are almost TOO many options that might be the right fit for me lol
all of this to say, and as so many other people here have said, you are not alone in this feeling! and as much as i used to dread the thought of getting older, i'm actually getting really excited for my 30s and how much better i'll know myself by then :)

Hannah I loved this video! I also really enjoy doing my own nails at home and getting to watch you do it as you talked to us felt so fun and comforting☺Your points about not feeling fully satisfied with being an influencer are totally valid, thank you for being so transparent with us! It's funny because you're not the only one feeling like that lately, another girl I follow (who I think you've met because she's in NYC too!) Ana Wolfermann, just made a TikTok about this and is basically in the same boat as you. Just like any other job, being an influencer has its downsides and as long as you acknowledge the privileges that come with it (which you do!) there's nothing wrong with expressing frustration with the negative aspects and wanting a break from those. I will say tho that your "boring" content is my favorite, you're my comfort TH-camr and I can relate to you in so many ways so honestly I love all your content LOL but there's something really cozy about your vlogs that always helps me relax.

hannah you inspire me, from your vlogs studying, routine, doing things in your room at your parents' house like new hobbies, remodeling it, doing night routine (in fact the first video I watched was a night routine video and I felt very comfortable there) soon after that I marathoned ALL your videos!
now that you live alone you inspire me to become independent like you are, go places alone, understand that life is good even though I don't have a boyfriend, giving me the portrait of a real person, please keep posting videos because they give me Help a lot, know that there is someone like me in their 20s who is still trying to find themselves in life

I'm so happy you've gotten into reading! It's one of my favorite hobbies. One thing I will say, especially in the fantasy genre, is it is so important to read diversely. Books can be harmful just as much as they can be helpful. Some authors I would recommend are Tracy Deonn, R.F. Kuang, N.K. Jemison, Octavia Butler, Nghi Vi, Sabaa Tahir, Hafsah Faizal and Aiden Thomas. Please don't let this discourage you from reading and expanding your horizons. I wish you all the best in your reading!

For the dating thing, it is absolutely so realistic to find somebody without apps. I found my partner without any of that or expecting to and we’ve been together for four years now. 29:49 the word to describe what you're feeling is "sonder" [ son-der ] - [noun]
The feeling one has on realizing that every other individual one sees has a life as full and real as one’s own, in which they are the central character and others, including oneself, have secondary or insignificant roles:
In a state of sonder, each of us is at once a hero, a supporting cast member, and an extra in overlapping stories.

I've watched your channel since you were a freshman in college, and I can definitely see how trying the corporate world could be fulfilling, especially if you find a role that matches what you studied and liked in school! That's how I was out of college with my supply chain degree. I have a corporate job now, and while the routine is nice for a creature of habit, it has its own downsides of unfulfillment. Sometimes I wish I worked on something MORE for myself and less for a huge company who doesn't know me. Maybe working for a small business with an admirable mission is the sweet spot here. Hugs!

Loved this video Hannah! I‘ve been watching since your college times and I watch every single vid 🥰
It was so interesting to hear you struggles with your job and you were not complaining at all! I‘ve noticed this with a lot of youtubers that the perfect balance seems to be a job (maybe part time) and a youtube channel on the side. Creating content out of life it self must be exhausting, even though I also love watching vlogs where people clean and edit etc. But when thats all you do and cutting videos I totally understand that after a while it may not be fulfilling anymore. I don‘t know how it is in the US but working in corporate is not so bad as people make it out to be. You meet lots of new people, do interesting work and often get a lot of corporate benefits. Just depends on the company and your boundaries. Good luck on your journey! ❤

literally everything you said about dating is exactly how I feel. I don't need it right now and I don't like dating apps. I just want to meet someone organically and not have all the anxiety that i do around dating apps. we are in the SAME BOAT bestie

I get everything that you're saying, but know this... People that are watching you... care about you, your life, your thoughts, your feelings. It doesn't need to be new or fresh or exciting because it's about you and your life and we feel privileged to be a part of that and a part of your journey. And we just want you to be OK so like whatever content you put out is ok because it tells us how you are and reassures us that you are doing well ... Speaking for the group, you are important to us. We love you.❤

Don’t recommend corporate life as someone who’s mental health severely went down and working my way back up. We don’t get to just travel or go on vacation so enjoy all these things you are able to! I know you’re grateful for the life you have but enjoy the freedom that you truly have. Corporate life doesn’t always have that work life balance we look for.

Girl, I am in my early twenties, I feel I am getting older and I don't know what to do with my life still while others my age or younger already seem to have their lives together, a stable job, a family of their own and I feel like I am stuck in one place but at the same time, I am truly happy with these years of my life because it is different than everyone else but it is peaceful and clam stress free. But I feel I shouldn't just stay in one place because no one ever does stay in their comfort zone....and I dont wanna but I need to. It's hard and I completely understand you, you feel like you are meant to do something greater with your life but you are not doing it right now. Oh well, I'll see what happens because not everyone has the same pace and that's okay! I just need to remember that everytime I feel like that.

Hannah, don't think it's impossible to meet someone special organically without using dating apps! I know in the moment it seems like you'll die alone, at least that's what I thought. I had Tinder for 6 months and the week I deleted it, my now boyfriend of almost 2 years, and the love of my life tbh, took a step forward and texted me, and the rest is history. He is a friend of a friend and we had met months before and always saw each other in group settings. Me deleting the app had nothing to do with him texting me btw. Now, that's my case, and it doesn't mean it works like this for everyone - but believe me, it's not impossible! And I'm aware it's easier to say it once it worked out for me... But why for me and not for you? You're mature, kind, down to Earth, and so freaking pretty with beautiful eyes. Keep believing in it. 💝❤
EDIT: PLEASE COME TO SPAIN!! You're so welcome here! As a Spaniard this makes me so happy!!! 💝💝 and I lived in Japan for a while and I also recommend 1000%!!! 🥰

I love your content! I love the "boring" things that you do, because they are not at all boring! your lifestyle content is super interesting to me because, as I foreigner, I see how your routine differs from mine in many aspects and yet we are somehow struggling with the same stuff.
I don't think you have to be innovative all the time, since what you are showing here is your life. All you have to do is live, have fun & grow. We will be here to watch any phase of it because you are such a beautiful, kind and captivating person.

I have kind of wanted a change. But scared too. But now also seems like a good time to do it. Love watching your videos and just relating to the same thing.

Hannah, I love that video so much! Your channel is so relatable and I love seeing you in your reading era! The Throne of Glass series is one of my all time favorite fantasy series and I cannot wait to see your opinions on that. I also recommend the Crescent City series, Powerless, Once upon a broken heart and the Shatter me series (this is more dystopian than fantasy)
