The whole John Dalton thing really confused me too because the original actor who played John dalton said in an interview with Lift Hills and Thrills that it would make no sense for him to be at the opening of Nemesis Reborn because he had died, but now he’s back? The fact that it is now a different actor playing John Dalton makes me think that it is either the Phalanx attempting to cover up his death and keep pushing the ‘everything is totally fine and under control’ narrative or it’s just one big continuity error lmao 😂 Keep up the amazing work :D
Galactica retheme might be awhile because of budget cuts I would love to see galactica rethemed to drones or another nemesis creature (fun fact we was ment to get a nemesis theme but we got galactica instead)
no way- i remember doing a very detailed comment on what you thought galactica would be rethemed to and one of my ideas was galactica turning into a good version of nemesis and them fighting eachother...
Making Forbidden Valley the Phalanx Institute would be cool if they do a full redesign of Galactica. (And if all the Galactica merch gets super cheap next year then we'll know as that always happens 😂)
If they retheme Galactica, they need to actually significantly change it, not just change the name and re paint a few things. My idea: You are a phalanx airship, tasked with capturing nemesis’s sister that has escaped its nest and is flying around earth. Everything would be repainted to black and white, and re themed towards a phalanx compound. There js a anamatronic of a bird- nemesis monster thing that roars at the train as it goes past through the plaza. And one at the block section before the station that is wrapped up in a fish net or cage and growls at the train as it goes into the station. There will be onboard audio, with a narrator that is ‘flying the airship’ and sfx of laser guns shooting and a soundtrack as you go around. At the end you are told you have successfully captured the nemesis beast and then as you exit the station and exit stairs are all re themed to a phalanx facility.

@DigitalDan I'm collecting the jigsaw magnets and guess what....can't get hold of Galactica. Couldn't find any in the gift shops and the page on the website gives a 404 not found! Not ordering any more stock in me thinks!
Before they do anymore re themes wish they would just sort out their ride availability, countless amounts of times on our latest visit there were multiple rides down at the same time. We we would open the app and guess if the ride we wanted to go on next was open! We called it ride roulette!
It would be a nice surprise if Galactica became A.I.R again, only with a bit of a touch up. They should keep the aqua blue track though. If not, just getting more hints on the new topspin is enough.
I don't think they are going to remove it as that ride as much as it is an awful ride experience is capacity for the park without it queues around the park would be significantly higher I can however see a re theme happen
We visited in September and I took photos of Galactica because I genuinely thought it would be torn down soon with most of the harnesses being covered in duct tape! Hopefully the retheme cleans it up as it used to be so smooth.

One of the screens said the Light Speed Missile was Infused With Toxic Nemesis Saliva (Toxicator tie-in) and had Interdimensional Travel Capabilities, which would be the flying part of Galatica. Then ultimately they had to use their greatest weapon, Nemesis, to take down this threat - so this new Missile, or something from the Intergalactic Defense Program, (Galactica) and Nemesis had to work together to save the planet!

The problem with this is that the net result will just be Forbidden Valley circa 2005. We've really come a long way in 20 years. Meanwhile Rita still exists, X-Sector remains untouched, Hex remains broken...there's an awful lot of two steps forward two steps back at AT.
Hex is open, trouble with Rita that'd be a big project either fitting a new ride in the area left or a whole area change to fit a ride, also trying to get permission for a new ride. X-sector really just needs a touch up and a flat ride. Forbidden Valley has been around longer than all them areas so it seems if they fix this area up fully they don't really need to invest in Forbidden Valley again for a fair while just upkeep, instead of slowly building it up.
