what even is civil engineering? (a career overview)

    Thank you for making this. Even if you don’t get many views on this video please don’t delete this. I’m a civil major and it just seems nice seeing some representation on the internet for once. My school is probably like 1:15 civil:mechanical engineering so seeing stuff like this is just nice. If you don’t mind me asking when you got to do your internships, was it what you thought civil engineering was all about or not?

      Appreciate the comment man. In short, absolutely not, first internship was as a coordinator for a shoring sub, didn't even know what shoring was lol

      Shoring is the process of temporarily supporting a building, vessel, structure, or trench with shores (props) when in danger of collapse or during repairs or alterations. Shoring comes from shore, a timber or metal prop. Shoring may be vertical, angled, or horizontal.
