    June 2024, good video as I'm working on a 1990 Dodge B250 van with glass fuses. Thanx.

    Thank you, you are awesome! I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get the green connector out of the fuse box on my 70 Torino, but watching your video made it simple.

    Aug 2024, nice job! I have a 71 LTD same fuse block. New 200A alternator but the fan reads 10.4 on max. Wired a Max bypass relay to gfet the cabin fan to 12.4v so I can feel the A/C but I still want to find the draw down source so again much appreciated video . . .

      I’m not too familiar with that exact model, but I’d say it’s under the dash on the drivers side. Should be able to see it if you look underneath.

    Good afternoon, where could you get the fuse terminals where the fuses are mounted, okay?

      sorry for the late reply just saw this. I got mine from another car, but just googl search "ford fuse block ends" and you'll see a bunch of options. Here is a link to some on Ebay though. www.ebay.com/itm/171504053764?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=171504053764&targetid=1645685073568&device=c&mktype=&googleloc=9031406&poi=&campaignid=16730423415&mkgroupid=135815925780&rlsatarget=pla-1645685073568&abcId=9300841&merchantid=8422474&gclid=CjwKCAjwjYKjBhB5EiwAiFdSfkSDML5I6gVPhNkE4uH4tXtwI7g8bPN8xKyTSOymy1C_xXR9ZzmHYhoCkXwQAvD_BwE

    I loosened the bolt, and NO amount of wiggling or tugging will unplug the connector??? What now? This is literally the only video on this subject that I could find, and everything was already undone when you started the video.

      Bikedueder yea this was the first video I recorded for the channel, it could have been better. I don't remember there being too much of a problem coming out. I would make sure the bolt is as loose as possible. Also maybe check how the wires are bundled together, maybe two separate wire looms are connected and not letting it move. The green box might click in a little too. So might need to rock side to side, or top to bottom to rock out of the groove. Once it's free from the firewall and you can see the back you need to push the bolt from the front and pop out the clip in the back. Then can fully take it apart. It your still having having trouble let me know, and I'll see how I can help.

    Hello. Any chance you are still looking at this? I am looking for a fuse box diagram. I have two fuses blowing and i cant figure out what the fuses are for. Rookie. 1970 ford econoline has the same box. Great video thanks!!

      Thanks. I should have one in the manual of the galaxie I will look for. I also have a 70 econoline also I can look at. If you look close at the box it might be labeled in small print, but sometimes I don’t trust the position of the label. Any chance you could text or email a picture of the ones blowing to 760 819 2901 or desertratracer@yahoo.com …

    You mentioned you were using the opening marked heater but it looks like you were using the AC opening . your heater is the next one in not the outside one

    • @DesertRatRacer
      @DesertRatRacer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea the one above that empty one is probably the heater. It is an ac car, so the empty one might be for some sort or emission or carburetor solenoid according to the manual. I have an original car manual with a fuse diagram, but it shows a different setup then the car, so kinda confusing.
