I totally agree. Amazing locos all round. Just wish I'd had a camcorder a few years earlier to catch them before the decline. Still, there are some great videos on TH-cam of 50s in the mid 80s.
so are we gona be seeing all the preserved locos back on the main line working trains like normal service's because idiots who own the freight companys haven't got a clue wat they are doing by scrapping or selling locos Left Right and center so now they are like "oh shit we don't have any locos to pull our freight trains oh god wat we gonna do better get all the preserved locos out" thick pricks not that im complaining I love how these locos are coming back to work but c'mon
Great to see it still running. This was one of, if not the, first 50 I ever saw. During a family holiday to Devon in the mid to late 70's.
