One thing to note: As far as I know, the art pedestal isn't allowed to touch team equipment to score... I may be wrong, but I'd advise having the team confirm the rules here..
Recently had my regionals comp and made it to nationals, you can score i believe 60 extra points by simply attaching all the orange minifigures to the pedestal and going through the same code. That counts as the audience delivery task and is basically free points! Got this confirmed by comp referee

Perhaps the gearing at the top of the tower should be reversed, it would give more torque to the top part.
Great Job, I bet with this robot you can get a lot more points. Also the boxy deisgn is really good for balance.

The 12 inch rule is only for pre-match inspection. For the actual runs there is no height limit
