Tonfa ippon kumite

The system of Ryu Kyu Kobujutsu of Inoue Motokatsu, the direct student of Shinken Taira, contains 8 weapons. For each weapon are one or more kata and prescribed kumite, like the ippon kumite. For tonfa there are 10 ippon kumite. In this video they are shown in a slow action. The video is free to use. I'm always open for comment.

That's impressive very impressive form and technician skills with the tonfas I just wish I could have used those in my original karate class it would have been cool learning so many different types of weapons and martial arts and defensive ways to counter and defend yourself it's all about learning the ways of martial art the way of life of the martial arts 🥋☯️🙏😌🙏☯️🥋

do itashimashite! It's the predescribed set of 10 ippon kumite by Inoue Motokatsu. In due time I wil post the ippon kumite of the other weapons also.

@@MaartenVanBloois It would be interesting to see a 10 ippon kumite of Sanjakubo (3 foot staff) if there is such a set?

@psychofox9920 there is not a specific set of 10 ippon kumite for the sanyako bo. But it's very interesting to perform the 10 ippon kumite in a form with one regular bo an ine sanyaku bo, or with two sanyaku bo. Just give it a try.
