Keeping the car in the original paint was not only a good gesture to the previous owner. But, it's a great way to Enjoy the car as everyday driver, where you're not stressing about an overpriced paint job 👍
Honestly the amount of blokes with ktg munro’s doing videos or photo shoots with the coupes rear quarter windows up is astonishing. Man, wind them down fellas, because you cant beat that sweeping line of that pillarless look.
Looks Perfect😘👌 that original paint is part of its character and story, so why change it. So long as it's not rustin out in the usual spots then it's all good.
@@aussieausdeutschland4245 what wasn’t mentioned is that the rear lower quarter has been replaced with another panel section off a Ute of a different colour. Brad who is doing the interview has done an excellent job of blending it back in with the original Patina which is more challenging to do than a high and spray job.
Why would you paint it . Then the story of its past is gone . Love it , now that's a muscle car. The people who dont like it are the one's that run pram wheels on there cars and think that looks good 😢😮😅😊
My dad sold his mint hk gts 307 in 1980 for $1600…. He promised to give me it for my 18 th birthday but got drunk and sold it instead! He was actually always drunk…😢
Gregory, this Monaro wasn't built for your approval. If you don't already have one? Buy one and build it to your liking. I hate nothing more than people judging other guys builds when they probably don't have the funds themselves to build a car like this and more than likely drive around in a Hyundai Getz.
Excellent job, just stumbled on the video and as I am a frustrated car guy, it just ticks the boxes. Cheers
Nice and well-Done Guys!
👍
Luvit real Patina is great 👍
1 of the best and meanest looking gen 1 Monaro's I've ever seen
This can park in my garage anytime.
It's just perfect.

@@barsixful that’s disappointing. Hopefully you’ve found yourself another killa ride to enjoy. 👍
For me the military sticker would have gone first then a repaint. I HATE PATINA.
