Hii sir, can I use an access point and link it to a router without having any end devices connected to it? The purpose is that I only need to add an access point to allow people to use the Internet but I don't need it for my floor plan end devices.

what ip adrees in command do you use?
thanks for your query. the ip address is automatically assigned by dhcp server to each connected hosts and in command the ip address used for reachability test is of gateway and other connected hosts of same network associated with dhcp server or router where dhcp has been configured

this video is useless. every command is not working and rest isnt working too ive followed step by step
thanks for your feedback. there might be different end devices you are performing lab on. please kindly verify and check it. This lab is performed on cisco devices and on packet tracer. All the configurations are almost the same all across these devices and equipment's.

@@TechnicalHakim im trying to connect one router to one access point and then have the PC connect to only the access point but it does first but when i reopen it auto connects to the router. I used the exact same equipment that you used but it says the commands are invalid. The word ''add'' is not working it says its an invalid word to use.
