Finally, someone who has an apt vocabulary and knows restaurant lingo. Please have her teach the rest of the group, sometimes it's painful to watch as they fumble for words to describe food and slaughter simple food terminology.
Thank God for Deni. Finally a fully functioning brain. The other two should stick to quick service and casual restaurants, their reviews of anything else is useless. It does look like a nice place, though.
Deni is such a great addition. Got to love the boys.. I know they butchered all the Spanish (and well.. every other word) but they are adorable and represent a great amount of people’s tastes! Great review guys!!!
Deni is such a good addition to this team - She's been so pleasant! This whole team makes me smile and happy to see some great new additions lately .. and super jealous.. is it weird to dream to be a part of it one day?!?!!?
I have to say the editing team is really good at what they do. I’m amazed when you cut the video of the person talking about the dish, to the video of them trying it, while the audio of them describing it continues. And then the audio merges seamlessly again with the video of them describing it on camera! Perfect.
Deni is a great addition! 👍🏼 The Resort and restaurant look great. I don’t like to be negative, and pretty much never post negative comments, but I always find it strange that the guys who do these reviews seem to actually know very little about food. I appreciate that it’s good to have someone clueless/unadventurous reviewing food, but it would be good if at least one of the reviewers had some sort of food knowledge to bring to the table.
Deni seems to be the new Charles for me. Wish the team spent research time before going on camera to practice what the might want to eat. I want to be encouraging, but it seems like they take the easy way out every time and just butcher without attempt to correct. CF was corrected on Jaleo for "con" but has no idea how it should be. You guys are professionals. You earn money doing this. Respect the food, the restaurant, the language professionally. Hoping Deni helps them put in some effort and improvement.
At one time Corey looks down at his plate and says that he has no idea what the vegetables are. All that takes is looking at the menu description as he orders. Perhaps Deni (who I love!) should have a different partner and review more upscale restaurants. (Charles would have been perfect) and Steve and Corey would be great with counter service, snacks, drinks, specialty items associated with holidays, etc.
Restaurant reviews are when I really, really miss Charles too. I mean - Guys, type any word into Google translate, and it will play a clip of the pronunciation. It's not hard.
Deni should be the lead in all future (non burger and fry) reviews. Her apparent understanding of food/dining, better palate, and ability to pronounce words is a 100% improvement. With her in the picture I can now take some of these reviews seriously and not crigne regularly as some of you stumble through dishes outside of mainstream fare. As for Fiasco and Steve, maybe a little homework on menu items and how to pronounce words prior to the reviews would go a long way to taking your comments to heart. Not trying to be harsh, but it needs to be said.
Steve likes mussels and anchovies! I am pleasantly surprised:) It is so easy to be hard on others and to scrutinize every small thing they do. Sure, there is mispronunciation of foreign words but I still enjoyed this review as I do all DIS content. Not everyone has experience with other languages. It was required for us to take Spanish in school in order to graduate. I also have had the privilege of working with many native speakers of the language. This, perhaps, puts me at an unfair advantage compared to those who may not have experienced the same things in life. Clearly these guys do still appreciate the varied food offerings. You don't have to know every bit of culinary terminology to know what you like. It doesn't make their opinions any less valid. I always appreciate everything the DIS group brings us and the hard work they put into the channels. Also, welcome to the team Deni!
Deni was a great addition, she seemed to know more about cuisine in general. I won't comment on your pronunciation; however, it would be nice if Pete would get you pocket mics so you don't always have to speak with a cellphone in your faces ;)
I stayed through this whole fiasco. (Pun intended). Until they couldn't pronounce pronunciation. #cringe I'm out. To the person who commented it's not a big deal...it kind of is if the words are mispronounced it's just hard to follow along and actually listen to the content. Make notes while you're eating, ask the server how to say the menu items, gather your thoughts then concentrate and do a respectable review. You can do it.
Great review ! Looks like another place to have a special evening! How about a ladies Dining review with Teresa Kathy Jackie and Julie. Everyone has unique personalities and would love to see them all together.
I think there is a decided lack of women's presence on this channel. I'm tired of the little boy jokes this crew puts out. Dont get me wrong, I love Craig and Ryno, but I'd love to get the female perspective
I think people ignore the blurb at the top of the comments that says “Remember to keep comments respectful”. Probably the ones who are criticizing and destroying the reviewers are the ones who moan about Craig “killing the magic” 🙄 I like that they have Deni, who seems to be a tad more “foody” and then Steve and Fiasco, with basic palettes. Not everyone has the same type of adventure nature in food.
They're all personable - mispronunciations aside - and Deni is a great addition. She adds more by giving more foodie-type details. Wish we had Pete's take on Toledo - he's great at giving details, too. I've got my ADR for October and I'm ready to go!
Corey, no need to apologize for your pronunciations. It's your honest review and assessment of your experience that's important here and you are doing a great job with that. Thanks for keeping it real.
@@sergiolopez60 it's what happens when they hired Corey who already came with his own channel with a lot of followers. Almost all the new hires have big social media followings. Kinda understandable since the DIS follower count is really lagging behind some of the other big Disney vloggers these days.
Demi, did you keep Steve from ordering Mac & Cheese from the Kids menu....good job ! And these guys will really benefit from you being on the dining review team...they need a lot of help in this area..Lol.. Nice to see a fresh face, congrats!
Deni seems to be a nice addition to the team, and I look forward to what she has to bring. However, this is a really weak team to have reviewing restaurants. Steve has always been a poor choice for dining reviews and Corey does not elevate the quality of the show with his opinions or personality. I find the constant mispronunciations that others find cute to be really distracting to the point of not taking the experience seriously. This is the weakest iteration of the dining show that has existed IMO and I truly hope it improves.
Dis Unplugged, Toledo, offering a very Spanish menu, just how good is that. Already this Hotel is going to become an attraction all on it's own. You can see no matter where you stay on property you'll need to eat here for one evening.Thank you for your time. Cheers, chris Perry.
Great review - I think the three of you make a good team for dining reviews. Deni - awesome job for your first time. Your descriptions were very helpful, a good length and clear. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Oh I saw myself at the beginning. Im surprised I didn’t realize you guys came in that day! I did see Pete the day he cane in, though! Glad you guys enjoy it! Im a seater at the restaurant lol
I would expect restaurant critics to know how to pronounce the cuisine they're reviewing. Most of the things ordered are pretty well-known Spanish foods and cheeses, as well as common leafy greens. I'm looking forward to trying this restaurant as I love Tapas and Disney. I've really enjoyed Jaleo (which was still mispronounced, even if they did correctly pronounce the "J") and I feel the bar is high to compete with that restaurant at Disney Springs.
I like Deni so far. Don’t get me wrong, I like Steve and Corey to a point but I agree with others, the mispronunciation of menu items is starting to wear thin and is no longer cute.
AGREEEEEED!! I miss Charles!!!! Why do people mysteriously just drop off the face of the planet around here? I absolutely truly love the Dis crew and the patriarchs of the family--no question. But I do find it so disappointing when this happens. Charles! And what happened to Shawn?
@Lee D Did they tell us he left and I just missed it? I know he was like the editor of their written content and I thought perhaps he stepped down from doing the videos or something. @Jamiec1919•21 Shawn is a Dreams Unlimited Agent now I think. I love the whole crew, but I enjoyed what Charles brought to the table with the culinary reviews.
Not to be negative but maybe research the menu before you arrive? Or at least ask the staff when you arrive to seem more knowledgeable. It is a dining review after all. I appreciate the authentic vibe, but this was hard to watch.
I agree. If they are going to die and review a restaurant , please someone go over the menu maybe the day before with he guys and practice the menu names. This is not rocket science. It isn't cute or a " joke" to listen to them not having a clue. This is part of your job , so take it seriously . I do like the three of them together.
Good point. If there is anything on the menu that they don't understand or can't pronounce, they can ask one of the staff about it, or google it. Also, I have seen dining vlogs from other people where they show the menu on camera. Even if it is brief, I can pause the video, read the menu and see everything the restaurant offers. Fiasco did it for the desserts, but it would have been nice if they had also done that for the appetizers & main courses, especially since they couldn't pronounce things correctly. I'm wondering what else was on the menu besides what they ordered.
Great Job! Really enjoyed and can’t wait to try. I’ve noticed the mis-pronunciations as well, however based on visitors I’ve experienced on my trips they reflect a good number of visitors to WDW, and are opening a door to broader tastes and palates. Now I’m a little bummed because I like that the more “adventurous” restaurants tended to be less crowded, but this team does a good job of making the food approachable.
Steve is one of my favorites. People are too hard on him. On a side note, has Pete checked out of this channel outside of DVC? This seems like something he would want to attend. I hope we get more Pete content soon
He's prolly retiring soon. They've already said John and Kevin are in the near future. And Craig has said he is taking over more and more shows as host so I expect the channel would be Peteless by years end. Which I think is supported by the fact he's hiring a new crop of people that already have a social presence and can carry themselves. Fiasco already had a fairly large pin trading channel. The one new gal for the DL show is a big instagrammer. I just don't think Pete realizes a big draw to this channel is him.
I completely agree. I think the channel is going to suffer once he leaves. Craig is a great producer but doesn't necessarily have the personality for an on camera host. I think Pete is missing that.
@@jershumuyo2734 there are already so many "Disney" shows with Insta people. Pete and John and Kevin and Teresa and Kathy are what sets The Dis above and apart. They care more about content than likes.

(Craig or Ryno was threatening to turn off live chat one time when several people were asking about Charles a few weeks ago). Lotta faces are disappearing and new ones are appearing that are already social media presences. It's pretty sad when even last week they finally pulled out one missing face and kinda mockingly said "see see I'm still here". It's kinda telling that those that have moved on from the DIS and have their own media going don't even want to acknowledge or talk about it. With how many disney vloggers there are these days the DIS needs to realize the reason they stand out anymore is because of Pete and the old guard.
And the last word in that description "choux", which is pronounced "shoe", refers to a type of pastry. This literally translates word for word in English to "coffee with milk pastry".
Seriously Pete, do not let the men do dining reviews. These two chuckleheads butcher any language and have questionable table manners. I miss Charles....
I already love Corey and Steve video's, I think they are a great team when they make videos. You can't have Pete, Craig and Ryno all the time. Loving Deni to the team too. I can see a lot more videos of Corey, Steve and Deni in the future. Great job, thank you for sharing. I also wouldn't have been able to pronounce all the names on the menu either.
Corey, just so you know on opening day of any restaurant they do not want to overwhelm the kitchen staff so they usually do not fill up the tables all at once. A gradual seating. I've worked in restaurants before.
I'm staying in the tower next year, and I will definitely eat at Toledo! You guys should review the Three Bridges Bar & Grill in the middle of the lake too - to make me hungry again!
I think Pete needs to make Steve and Corey watch a few seasons of Top Chef so they can pick up a few culinary terms. Yay for Deni! I would love to see this place to offer brunch. Awful plating in my opinion. IDK about this place
The guys represent most diners. A review by a more food-savvy group would not be as helpful to the average diner. The guys aren't especially sophisticated, but that is in keeping with the purpose of the content. They are enthusiastic and their willingness to try a new cuisine will appeal to those who might otherwise be intimidated at a more upscale place. Disney gets credit for making new choices available to EVERYONE, and the restaurant exists to reach vacationers and present choices they may not have otherwise. Those on a dining plan especially can go to a bolder choice of restaurant and not get too hung up on prices. Relaxed diners will have a better experience, and that's what keeps Disney restaurants open. A good information video will help vacationers get more from their trip, and that should be, and is, the spirit of the Dis.
Love Deni and she adds so much to the review. Corey is such a camera hog and repeats himself often. I don't understand the big wrap up at the end when we just heard their reviews as they ate.
What a bunch of silly ninnies commenting here. Corey is doing a great job and he gets better every week. Steve and Corey, and Ryan and Craig, are representative of many people that will try these restaurants.
I agree. Ryno Craig Corey & Steve are the future here and they are entertaining and love to spend time in the parks. Some of the team are busy with other projects and jobs so if it was not for them we would not have information brought to us at all and for free. You used to have to purchase guides that were outdated as fast as they went to print due to all the changes made weekly.
Thank God for Demi. I have always had a hard time taking dining advice from young kids with underdeveloped palates. Ugh the pronunciation issues make me cringe. Welcome Deni.
Alright y’all I’ve tried and I am generally not a negative person but I am not into Fiasco being in all these videos. Something about him is super annoying.

OMG! "Cafe con Leche" ... Here is my best break down... "Cafay" "cone" "letch-a" You are too funny Corey! At least you admit it though :D
And the last word in that description "choux", which is pronounced "shoe", refers to a type of pastry. This literally translates word for word in English to "coffee with milk pastry".
Deni has replaced Charles as my favorite food reviewer
Seriously Pete, do not let the men do dining reviews. These two chuckleheads butcher any language and have questionable table manners. I miss Charles....
Deni is a great addition to the team.
Have an ADR for my DH’s Birthday in September. Can’t wait!
Love Deni. So poised.
Heerloom...heerloom.
Restaurant looks great
The guys represent most diners.
Miss Pete being part of this show but Deni was a great addition.
C’mon Fiasco ...for the homeland. “A” = ah(p-ah-ne for pane), “I” = e(F-ee-asco for Fiasco), “E” = a(pan-a for pane). Love you, man!
Really liking Deni:) Good job at your first food review!! Please teach those boys how to pronounce ingredients :D
Love Deni and she adds so much to the review. Corey is such a camera hog and repeats himself often. I don't understand the big wrap up at the end when we just heard their reviews as they ate.
nice dishes...good prices...definitely will eat there when visiting
Look forward to eating here on an upcoming trip!
Great job!! Looks delish!
is this new restaurant and hotel on the new gondola loop? I hope so, as I'd like to use the gondola just to go this restaurant.
Yee Boi nope, this hotel is only on the bus loop (or you can take Uber/Lyft).
What a bunch of silly ninnies commenting here. Corey is doing a great job and he gets better every week. Steve and Corey, and Ryan and Craig, are representative of many people that will try these restaurants.
Your comment matches my thoughts exactly about a lot of comments made here.
Where dis steve get that shirt? Love it!
Thank God for Demi. I have always had a hard time taking dining advice from young kids with underdeveloped palates. Ugh the pronunciation issues make me cringe. Welcome Deni.
At least you fixed it to "To -laid-oh"! Thank you
Alright y’all I’ve tried and I am generally not a negative person but I am not into Fiasco being in all these videos. Something about him is super annoying.
love Deni
Let's let Deni pronounce the names of the items on the menu.....
I would like to hear John and Kevin review this restaurant when they have time. I miss their dining reviews.
Pete, please hire me just for dining reviews.
Gave you guys a hard time on the last video and will give credit where it is due this review was much better. Good job looks like you might have a new trio, Deni was great and worked well with you both.
Great review guys
Wow, all the negative comments on this is crazy. Seemed like a normal review to me. It was fine.
Bless you Cory, but now that you live in Florida, you HAVE to learn to pronounce cafe con leche 😹😹😹 great review, I am looking forward to eating here one day!
Yay, Deni!
