I have found best practice is to use less water when moping. Change water after every room. Seems very inconvenient but the cleaning results are MUCH better plus the mop head stays less dirty. ALWAYS USE 1/4 mop bucket CLEAN WATER TO RINSE MOP BEFORE LEAVING FOR THE DAY.
