Additional info for the Alt-K function is that when you use it, it will only show the elements currently showing on screen. For instance, it won't show the Voice Chat box if someone wasn't talking at the time you pressed the keys. To show ALL possible UI elements, you have to go to your appropriate renderer.ini file, and set ForceVisibleWhenMove=1. Also, for triple screens, you need to set DriveUIFullScreen=1 also to allow you to drag UI elements to your side monitors. Hope this helps. 👍
Here’s a similar tip if you don’t have a 7 way, but just a hat. Bind a nearby button to the lap timing black box, an adjacent button to the next black box button. With just those two buttons, you can open, close, and cycle through every black box. The hat you can use for next previous increment and decrement. Then, bind any other button from the opposite side of the wheel to toggle control. This has worked well for me for over a year and is very fast too.
I use the 7-way switch button on an Archer wheel but sometimes a quick toggle press will also push the button upwards or down, selecting previous or next control which can trigger unwanted changes (i.e tyre change selection). The rotary button is a bit too small/wobbly for me, especially wearing gloves. Therefore I use a separate button on the wheel for the toggle selected control
Really enjoy your vids. Just to add a couple of items, if I may. Go back into control and map UI EDIT to a button, still have to use a mouse to move boxes, also the recenter is very useful mapped to a button. I crash in VR and all those are game changers for me. Thanks again.
mostly the same but I like twist for changing a setting, and left/right to change which black box - easier for me to nudge with a thumb rather than twisting. I won't buy a wheel or hub that doesn't have a funky switch now.
I'm curious to see you IR settings in game for your alpha U because on your BB your ffb is at 64.5nm I'm using 3 so something is obviously different somewhere would you mind doing a video on it?
How does it work with switching tyres? The ones on the left are just a simple click but if you want to select or deselect the tyres on the right and want to move over to them in my case i change the psi of the tyres instead of moving over to the tyres on the right handside
Jack, you should have million subscribers at least my brother. Your content is so easy to follow through without unnecessary bs. Thank you as always 🫶🏼

I am getting tripples next week, and this is exactly something I needed to know, thankyou!!
Crucial info for success. Thanks for pointing these out. Wish the recommendations you listed were the default values!
You just blew my mind. I a,ready was set up like this, but had no clue my simagic Neo sticks rotated. Praise be, that got me completely on one dial
doing this for years since i have had DD1 , a funkyswitch is so handy ! Use it the same on my Simagic setup now.

I agree I have to figure this out
Nice video again Jack. I had my black box mapped to my right thumb wheel but this is quite elegant!
Thank you! This video helped me alot.
Already had my seven funky switch program. But I still learn something new, with the relative box. I always hated cycling to find it.
Now we are talking!!! LOVE IT! This is so helpful.

more videos like this please
Nice! I like the idea of using a funky switch for all those boxes, and the ALT-K was totally new for me. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks, great tip!

@taxi615 this wasn't set. Correctly for this car, when I pulled out I put it up to 44nm
@JACKZERYT yeah but still I never run it that high or I can't turn lol I run 3 to 5 max in the black box depending on the car
Jack, Best video yet for 2025
Ah bud, you should see some other quick tips I've planned :), thanks for watching
@@JACKZERYT Amazing, I am subscribed, so bring it!!

I think you just have to keep pressing the ‘next control’ button until you get on the right hand side of the black box
Yeo this is correct!
