would it really have changed anything? Ali helps fighters get big fights, hes not really in the business of protecting his fighters. He manages elite fighters who fight the best, and is in pursuit of getting his contenders to the belt, which involves taking big fights and big challenges.
Tony was doing exactly that. He fought Gaethje, Oliveira, Beneil, Chandler, Nate, Bobby, and most recently Paddy. Those were all big names that with one or two wins would put him back on track to the title.
He just wasnt able to get the wins.
Having Ali as his manager wouldnt change that.

Anybody capable of reading the scoring criteria know rounds 4 & 5 of his fight with Jan were 10/8 rounds. His duration and dominance were beyond meeting the criteria for a 10/8 round. With these two rounds alone he wins that fight. Joe Rogan spoke about this in the cage that night, and Jan Blachowicz himself agreed.
Magomed made short work of Walker both times they met. It was due to Walkers inability to answer a simple question of which country they were in that ended the first match. Regardless, Magomed finished their fight in the first round upon meeting again.

In the Usman fight ppl always say he slowed down no he didn’t it was a misread it’s because he broke his hand which we found out a torn ligament which made it hard to do anything but he said f it and decided to push through cause of sheer adrenaline and still managed to win.
