Grocery Haul~ First of 2024

I bought them last year and decided to make the TikTok cinnamon roll with heavy whipping cream. I got another roll this year as well. I’ve got mine both times from Aldi.

I've not seen the TikTok cinnamon rolls but I bet they're good!🥰 I need to go to Aldi! I've not been in years but I need to try shopping there more often, it's just not super near me so I'd have to make it a point to get over there!

@@IvySueandYou yeah when I grew up our closest was an hour and half away so my mom made and effort we’d go about every quarter or so. Then Save A Lot came to town which we started shopping at because it was compared to Aldi in prices even though it offered more name brand options. Then it closed in the town we’d shop in. It kinda stinks when you live in a food desert and have to travel 30 or plus to go shopping for groceries. When I grew up we had two small grocery stores, two drugstores, and a five-n-dime store like TJ&Y if I have it spelled right. When it closed ALCO came in until it closed. I’m not sure if we had DG and ALCO at the same time. Now Family Dollar is in that space when it came in the space was divided into 2 sections. Regarding the grocery stores the community is now down to one store because the owner decided to retire from running the store. The same thing happened with the drugstore.
When I moved away I first started shopping at Walmart. I found Aldi here. Since living here I’ve shopped at different stores at different times in my life. There was a time when I used coupons. Walmart, HyVee, Kroger, Aldi, a store that sales Best Choice, Target sometimes, and now have started picking up from DT are all different stores I’ve shopped at different times living here. Currently my go to store is Aldi, some at Kroger, a few from Walmart, and DT.

I think $35 is awesome! I don’t blame you for wanting to not go in stores! lol! It gives me something to do during the week!😂 your meal plan sounds great!! You definitely have a great start! I need to write out a list of meal options as well. You have a good amount of canned food! There was a lot of things I wanted to make for Christmas this year but didn’t. You picked all the best frozen fruit for smoothies! I love a peach smoothie in the summer so good! I’m excited to see what you come up with!! It’s so exciting!😂

Hey New friend here! TH-cam suggested your channel while i was checking out grocery hauls. I have a channel as well. I do grocery hauls, cleaning videos and recipes. I didnt participate in the three rivers challenge, but i've been watching those who have and I love this idea. I've been trying to use up whats in my pantry as well. This was a great video.
