I really needed this video, currently aiming for a silent build without restrictive airflow and choosing fans has been a nightmare, but this video gave me some really good ideas. I don't know if I missed it, but out of these five options, which one would you recommend the most for a water cooling radiator? Are any of these worth it or should I look for something else?
New sub right here, thanks and good job!
Not bad, not bad at all this video, thanks for the top notch quality of the information, subbed :)
Thanks for the comment! Which one did you end up getting?
22 dB is not twice louder then 12 dB ))
Do you want to join our team? We need someone smart like you! :-)
Its true. For every 3dba the perceived sound is doubled. And of course dba neglects lower tones thats why a14 scores better as it should. In real life those a14s have horrible deep sound. I should know since i have them. The a12x25 is a lot better even if the dba reading shows a14 has a lower dba.
Damn ni a you got rocked !! He straight up murdered you with that answer son 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
@@pcmecca7339Nice passive agressive answer for someone correcting your mistakes ear perception is not linear it is logarithmic
3 dB is 2x louder it’s fact
So, where are the graphs with your measurements?
Are the dB values measured at 100% Rpm? So if I were to get the Be Quiet (19 dB at 1600) and just run it at 1200Rpm, would I get about the same dB as the Noctua ULN (12 dB at 1200 Rpm)?
I'm using some cooler master fans and although they aren't loud in the sense that I don't hear any "vrooom" sound, they do have a ticking noise that's really annoying
Thank you. I will also have price as a factor in considering the brand. Thank you everyone in the comments.
Arctic P12 as quiet fan...
P is for Performance
Even NVMe drives are 'loud'
Pretty sure the P means pressure as they also have a F model for flow
Arctic p12 is extremely loud. Its more around 40 decibels.
I think you don't know what you are talking about.
@@Axelqwewewe I own arctic p12 fans and they're really loud. I admit probably not 40 decibels, but loud enough to irrate someone.
@@swag_master8925 I have 9 pieces, 4 push pull on the radiator and the rest on the case, adjusted properly in the bios, I don't hear them at all, not even in load, and I have 10600k at 5.1ghz and it doesn't exceed 68 degrees. Have a nice day!
@@swag_master8925 they are noisy at certain RPM (1000 RPM iirc) and some have faulty bearings
My p12 are noisy while rpm changes and at certain rpm. It's absolute disaster. The noise is not loud but it's as annoying as it could possibly be
the only reason that i dont get a noctua is becuse it looks sheit
Well, thanks for the input!
Noctua makes all black variants of their fans now which look great
Shit look means it’s good. It’s the only stealth no light fan. “Oh dang you got those ugly fans. damn that’s so cool. I wish I could over look esthetics for function”
Do not buy Arctic P12. I have 2 and they started to scream after 4 month.
then return them
this is some ai generated bullshit
You sure about that slick?
The script maybe but the narrator sounds human
