I am in tbe UK, automatic cars are rare here. When a used one comes up for sale, they usually sell pretty quickly. I used fo drive my mothers automatic clio but I prefer manual. I always buy manual cars

They are very much the minority here in the UK. Historically they were quite difficult to maintain and are less economical in terms of fuel consumption.. Starting to become a lot more prevalent recently

I bought a mini clubman a couple months ago and I specifically wanted a manual. In the US, automatics are standard, but I LOVE being so connected to the driving experience, and you just don't get that in an automatic.
