I usually watch food travel shows, but this is by far better...thank you for doing what you do and sharing it with us all, much appreciated...all the best in your travels
Amazing! I found myself thinking of what the experience must have been like. The sound of the rain. The smells and sounds. Everything! No distance is to far in my mind. Only lack of resources could limit it. I hear there is some great unique reptile fauna on the other side of the moon we need to check out.😁
Great episode, loads of interesting stuff and beautiful animals, I bet Steven Kush would love some of those Scrubs for his collection , keep up the excellent work Dan and Apple.
Just AWESOME as usual!!!! Always a treat watching your videos...... As much as I love the many channels about Ball Pythons, it is great to know and see that there are other breeders, sellers, keepers and hobbyists with channels other than. LOVE IT!!!!
Super sweet content, as usual. Love seeing the source(s) of some of the exotics. I can't imagine how exciting it must be for you to be there, doing it in person. Keep it up! Looking forard to more...
When you originally uploaded this it blew my mind. Some folks talk the talk but you… you get the point. Going back to some comments you made in the past. Folks don’t see the bigger picture of what it takes to get these animals in the country. Weirdos will just demand a product and act like you’re disrespecting them for replying with a detailed ‘not at the moment’. In a humble family’s home with the Islamic prayer call blaring in the background on the edge of our planet! They probably still don’t get it though.
Absolutely awesome video, it's so cool to see the relationship you have with the source and I know if you trust them they must have a decent keepers ethic. Thanks for taking us along again. Safe travels
Another awesome video dan great to see everything from the source and I agree with what you say about colabs I too shy away from them when building a brand its important our. integrity is intact , in the spider world its much like the reptiles I watch very little reptile channels becouse of how they are presented , keep doing what your doing mate I love the authenticity your channel has and the content is awesome you and Apple have the same team myself and my wife have on our channel ❤👍
I love those Axanthic blue tongues, but that pile of babies was too cute lol. Scrubs are super cool too, always loved them and Timor pythons, the huge head scales on the former are super cool.
No worries, I stopped using them because everyone said they weren’t cool. However, this one is awesome. Waterproof, expands into a larger bag in case it rains and I can keep my cameras dry, doubles as a shoulder sling and if some dumbass wants to try to get into my pockets(like when getting off that ship) they gotta get right up in my face and I’m hands free. Oh and when vlogging I clip my DJI mic to the strap when I have it cross body.
@@marcmuller9556 No worries, I did a podcast once where the guy was calling me Dave through the whole thing(I never found out if his had an "e" at the end or not lol).
Depending on where you live and the specifics of the laws, these may be legal in your area because they are a different species than what is commonly listed as prohibited or invasive.
@@wolfyeverywhere I have a good contact with DFW that I could check with to confirm but I believe you are not allowed to have Simalia amethistina as they are on the state's invasive species list but the others are ok. The ones in this video are S. tracyae. FL changes things often so I usually just run things by the Lt. if I have a question about legality.
@@wolfyeverywhere Unlike the guy that just got busted for buying/selling/possessing venomous with zero permits, I will check with the state before I even send anything from West coast to East coast. State residents should know their own laws but I try to follow the rules....and for FL I have a great resource I can ask and he is actually appreciative of me inquiring FIRST.
It's always interesting to see where Animals originate not that we appear to most of those in this video here in the UK. The Ground Boas are interesting in that they are not from The Solomon Islands. Are they the same species? They look pretty much the same and are nicely coloured. It's always nice in these videos to see the people from the places that you visit and how they live. That's one of the interesting things about the travel videos that I really enjoy.
Good morning dmexious have a absolutely wonderful day great work have a super day have a great day have a nice day have a awesome day have a cool day dmexious
Where I live we don’t get any snakes crossing the road atall😢 I wish I had space for a scrub python. They look absolutely awesome. That first one in this video looked fantastic. At first I thought the bands on that one had a kind of dark reddish colour. I think it was just the light.
I won't be back in the USA until June. We have two shipments planned for that month and two expos in SoCal, one in July and one in August. Will be back in SE Asia in September.
We moved all of the trip content to another channel and deleting all of these. Since this one is 100% reptile related, I decided to re-edit and get it back up on this channel since I think it is pretty important for reptile enthusiasts to see. We have a similar trip like this coming up at the end of February and into March.
They said that about Kofiau in scientific papers because the authors couldn’t find any but our “non-academic” butts went and found quite a few. I don’t like all the illegal collecting but good thing they live high and out of reach of human hands.
Yes, I’ve seen them in kofiau also. The issue is when a particular phase is in vogue that population is decimated from its original status, Cyclops mountain for example. Most of these ‘collectors’ do so illegally, and sell to Jakarta for peanuts, with a few exceptions such as Morph PNT & Boelen’s pythons. I do enjoy seeing what they find though, but it’s hard to look at the exporters ponds in Jakarta filled with damaged Emydura and Chelodina species that are all mature specimens and really are worth nothing in the hobby.
Dan is and has led a unique life 🧐 He's earned his status I still think he needs to Collab with Clint. Though Clint will make Dan look like he's never stepped in a gym 🤣
I learned my lesson about collabs and you may not ever see another one of those again from us. These are important friendships and contacts for us as a business and I would never risk that for likes and subs(plus need people around us not acting right if you know what I mean).
Thanks for taking the time showing us this part of the world! Wish you a fantastic trip! Cheers from TX!

I could watch 5 hours of this video type. You seeing and explaining wild type possible imports. So cool.
Always an education when your videos drop. I've been watching for years, and they never fail to amaze me when they drop.
Cool stuff man!! Less hands they go through the better. Stay safe guys.
Good stuff, thank uuu buddy! K

Your channel and your work is underrated. Thank you for your contribution.
Those black and white Halms are sick too!! I've missed them the couple times I've seen them for sale. But someday.

It would be pretty surreal to see a wild scrub python crossing the road.
It happens and we have a video of that exact thing on our channel...it is strange.

Are these all caught in the wild or more farmbred? Mix of both?
The skinks are born here but the snakes are all wild-caught.
And he probably thinks Kingsnakes crossing the road is crazy!
True, it is all relative
It’s great seeing the new animals, but a disgrace the damage Indonesia has done to West Papua. In many areas GTP etc are basically non existent now.
