    Thank you, Michelle, for sharing your newfound method for keeping your hair straight. And, congrats on the new hair care informational guidelines and tools! You did a wonderful job on them. Once again, you amaze me with your energy and dedication to helping us with our hair! My shedding is finally slowing down, and I have lots of new growth popping up! I look forward to using my RevAir again, hopefully by Summer….

      Oh thank God the shedding is slowed. So it’s back to 50-100 hairs daily? That’s what’s normal
      Ddid you discover the cause for why you went into this phase?

    You are so right with growing your hair out. You have to wear it straight at some point. TY for this video. Can you share what tools you use when blowing and straightening your hair please. If you already have a video please reference it. TY

      I use the RevAir revair.pxf.io/finehairfaith to straighten and I alternate sometimes using the Revlon brush but only when in a rush because Revlon is hot as Hades lol. To flat iron I use this tourmaline ceramic flat iron: amzn.to/3OWMg8r
      I also use the Tymo Ionic Hair Straightening Brush: pboost.me/5OzG
      Here's a video of me using the Tymo: th-cam.com/video/8sT_bpymrq8/w-d-xo.html
      I haven't done a flat iron video yet. Maybe next time before spring leaves.

    Well you go, you cracked the code and it looks pretty but did I miss the part where you actually straightened it? I need to learn how to do that and right now I'm feeling really sick and I'm watching videos to try and relax a little bit. Say a prayer for me, thank you!😊🙏

      really just the bantu knots keeps them stretched, especially with sweating. Keeping it tied down. soon as there's any moisture/sweating, if the roots aren't stretched, they will poof

      @FineNaturalHairandFaith  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LC-eh5mf this method keeps the roots straight too. I consider them the same. The edges are at the root. It’s all about having the tension there as the hair is “drying” from the sweat

    What type of flat iron did you use and when you washed your hair did you have any heat damage?

    • @FineNaturalHairandFaith
      @FineNaturalHairandFaith  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey! I never get heat damage. I straighten 3-4x a year, use two heat protectants and don’t go above 380 degrees .
      I use this flat iron (tourmaline ceramic) from Amazon: amzn.to/3JKJAYB

    Becareful of bantu knots they will cause breakage overtime. You won't see it right away. Thanks for the info - Love your hair! 🙂

    • @FineNaturalHairandFaith
      @FineNaturalHairandFaith  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      hey thanks but they don't cause me breakage. I have been doing them for years. I don't wear them as a style. I only use them when my hair is straight and i'm trying to prevent reverting from sweating. I only straighten 3-4x in the winter. I'm about to go back to twists. I can't believe i'm saying this but I'm actually looking for to them!

    Is there a reason you don’t brush the hair ask the way through ? It helps oil run down the hair better than just using it at the roots. Your hair is fine, it shouldn’t be an issue to brush all the way through.

    • @FineNaturalHairandFaith
      @FineNaturalHairandFaith  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Brushing natural hair with any sort of texture in it when the hair is dry, is a recipe for breakage. My hair would have to be bone straight to do that. Fine is the individual strands - aka very fragile strands prone to breakage. Also, because my density (the number of individual strands on the head) is medium, no brush would go straight through my hair that way.
      There's also no need to work oil from my roots down to the ends. I use oil at the roots for stimulating growth and a different oil at the ends for strengthening. If we followed the logic that we should run a brush down from root to ends to distribute oil, then we should also do it when the hair is in its natural state, which no one with natural hair should ever do. Brushes are not friendly to our hair when it's dry.
