Hey I’m new to your blog TH-cam videos however I will say I’m going to try this method! My hair is so fine & thin so I’m branching off into a more natural hairstyle for my hair texture Braids I can only where a certain amount of time and that becomes costly and it’s so hard to find a professional stylist that can care for my type of hair without my hair being stressed out from their products they use! So anywho lol I’m over here struggling and being an introvert is hard so I’m a shy girl but I learning to love my natural hair for what it is
@@mznetta6727 fellow introvert here!! I prefer to do my own hair anyway. I feel you on braids. I don’t even like to do them on my own hair because they look skimpy
Thank you for this! Your twists are beautiful! You have retained a lot of length! How long does it usually take you to do your initial set of twists after a fresh wash? Do you worry about locking with fine hair? How do you counter the locking? Sorry for so many questions.
hey thanks! it takes me about 7 hours to do this size but I'm also watching tv and stuff. there's about 63 twists here. they couldn't be smaller than this. some people with more density get more twists at this size. I've not had any issues with locking because I don't allow the twists to stay longer than about 3 1/2 weeks. Parting the sections has also stopped my roots from webbing
Beautiful twist! You are so right that mentally figuring out the direction of the twists determine how they lay in the back! Question-do you start your twists on damp hair or blow dried hair?
hey thanks! always i do on blown out hair even though I do remoisturize it. i used to do on damp hair but I will only do that if I don't plan to ever take them out before washing again
What a nice refresh!!! Do you ever have an issue with the butter staining your gray hair? I, too, have salt - n - pepper hair. I have to avoid using colored products because so many colored products give my grays a dingy, bronzy color.
@@thalitaneilwilliams8909 it doesn’t really make a Difference. Any hair type can have varying lengths for varying reasons. Uneven growth or breakage. You could also have different rates of growth on your head
Great and much appreciated video, Michelle! Your hair is looking gorgeous. It is the top front where my twists lay really strangely. I think I am twisting them one way but they lay a different way. 😣 would you do a demo of how you get your front twists to lay your desired way? Please! 😊 Oh, are you not using oils when retwisting or refreshing?
As always Michelle, very informative. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much! You are my twists hero. Would you call these mini or medium twists?
aww thanks. i'd say they are smallish but not mini and medium is a little bigger for me

@@covenantgraceministries4080 thanks! No. It at all. It lasts for the day and then runs off by the following day
Very nice. How is Mr CJ these days?😊
he's good! thanks for asking :)
How do you prevent your twist from untwisting?
Is it normal for fine hair to have some hair long and some short
