The Night King and the White Walkers deserved so much better than what they got.
When Beric's sword lighted up it brought me goosebumps... Winter was there, the lone wolf died but the pack survived...
All this hype just for Arya to come out of no where and kill it🤦🏽♂️ I really wanted Jon Snow to fight the Knight King😔
Why though ? She was aptly trained for it.. she had everything to do that! She's the Azor Ahai.. Jon is just a pawn...

A lot of people talking about that, but why isn’t anyone talking about why Jon didn’t kill that dragon? I mean shit, have him do something ffs, the fucking dragon died anyway. Jon needed at least one cool scene after all that hype.

Um people died more than 300k in only the ep 3 of season 8 so yes it did matter in some ways

The dothraki were alone 100k i know you say they were in ep 6 too. Well a few returned after the dothraki charge in ep3 there were no more than 500 of dothraki in ep 5 and around 1000 unsullied. So 160k of dany's army died in ep 3 not counting the northmen the wildlings and the arryns etc
Well, I don't think dany sent the whole dothraki horde in the charge in ep3, the flaming arakhs didn't look like it numbered 100k and clearly no one would send their entire cavalry into slaughter that easily however daft they may be

I used to think that the war would last two season at least. First they we would see the horror of what the Night King does across Westeros, going from castle to castle killing armies and favourite characters. Then we would see the survivors find each other again and defeat him. Some would give up and deflect to Cersei in KL where the army of the undead wont have reached.
But we got one episode, no major deaths during the battle and everything was forgotten about.

Actually we got major deaths, but the fact Night King prepared and built his army 8000 years and lost in one night makes no sense. And he actually wouldve reached Kings Landing. White Walkers were to take over all of Westeros.
This makes me sooooo angry bc it's sooo true , what a waste of an amazing storyline 😑
When daenerys and jon went to kings landing with full army to convince cersei why wouldn't she take the throne she only needs two dragons for it,after she can bring the whole army in kings landing to north
still a better plot than the original one.

I'm surprised at how much this upsets me now. I thought I'd be over it by now, but after watching this again, I just want role up into a ball and cry, or just want to straight up break something. The Night King was the soul reason I got into this series and the way they did him in this season, I lost all hope. The series died for me at the end of that episode. I didn't care after that. Just utter disappointment. . . Anyway. All well.

I came back to watch this video as I did 11 months ago for the first time. That's cause I'm rewatching Game of Thrones and wanted to remind myself how they messed up a great show towards the end.
9 years of hyping the Night King/White Walkers and Wights, only for them to throw them under the bus and presented Cercei as the one true ultimate villain.
Night King got killed in a mysterious way by Arya without even putting up a fight.
Not to forger Arya's magical jumping skills.
The NK was clear 20-30 feet ahead of his army and yet, Arya made it past them and they didn't notice.
Meanwhile, few minutes earlier, same Arya couldn't easily sneak around 10-15 Wights inside the library but could survive the over 1,000 White Walkers and Wights standing far behind their boss.

No not true i mean yeah they got defeated very fast but just because everyone hold up against them. In fact the great war was over 2 seasons since white walkers became real for them. Arya was just in point but their army was brutal and so scary
