Yes, that seems to be key for this quick look - near perfect skin - isn't it. Moral of the story I think is - maintenance of the skin is priority #1 .

YEAH that’s how you do make up in a rush.. 🙌 not like yeah I’m in a rush but let me put this primer and a tint and a concealer bronzer and a blush and a liner and a mascara and a lipstick 🙄
At last! An actual quick makeup which didn’t have a million steps. (Bothers me slightly that mascara didn’t follow the lash curling, but that’s something for your conscience!)

It works fine, the point is to look awake and put together with minimal makeup not to change your face. I have a similar routine except I change the concealer for bb cream and a little of pressed powder and add eyebrow mascara
I probably won't follow and do any make up tutorial but I just love watching you. it's always fun

If I put red lipstick on a nearly bare face, my redness would show up even where I didn't know I had redness. I don't get how people do it.
Side note: I so need that brush, it's the Louboutin of brushes!
ocandro I think it’s because she has warm undertones (olive-ish), so she has less natural redness all over her face. Also she has great skin.

Mostly great skin, plus she doesn't appear to use any actives, so there's less irritation. The undertones are partially true, but I know people with the most sallow skin, who still have red patches here and there. Alexa is just annoyingly perfect 😜

I have tons of surcace redness on the skin, but love wearing red lipstick on its own - my main trick is to apply the red lipstick as the first step, and let the redness show up. After that, I start to conceal anywhere on the center of my face that's suddenly lobstery - starting with the undereye bags, followed by the area around my mouth, often followed by the sides of my nose etc. I stop once I'm happy with the results.The redness on the sides of your cheeks etc. usually isn't as visible as you think, so I skip that to keep the fresh skin look. Applying lipstick first really helps you to gauge how much concealer you need, and where to place it. Hope this helps at least somewhat!

(I use bb cream for foundation and concealer, a blush for cheeks and eyeshadow, mascara and lipstick)
