For more Look at Dish go to patreon.com/stuffisland INGREDIENTS: 3 1/2 to 4 pounds short ribs, each about 2-inches long 5-6 small carrots, diced 2-3 stalks celery, diced 1 medium onion, diced 2 medium shallots, diced 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons tomato paste 1/2 cup ruby port 2 cups dry red wine 1 head garlic, cloves separated and peeled 3 1/2 cups homemade beef stock Herb Bouquet in cheesecloth: 1 dried bay leaf 2-3 sprigs fresh rosemary 5 sprigs fresh thyme 4 sprigs fresh flat-leaf parsley For garnish: Chopped parsley Grated Pecorino Romano
I gotta quesh: in the video Tommy says he's using 4.5-5lb of short ribs, but the ingredients show 3.5-4lb. Was this a typo, or did Tommy misspeak during the video?
Id love to see Tommy do something with Tim Dillon, not because I think they would synergise, but because it'be great to see the world's straightest gay guy hang out with the world's gayest straight guy
A chef by profession for 20+yrs and I love this... As comedians both funny, been a fan... But to do this... And this dish in particular, great choice.. I could do a whole review on this it's great 👍🏽 but the part that made me laugh and smile the most in when Tommy is wrapping the bouquet and Chris is standing right over his shoulder with his hands clinched down in front of him.. most people probably won't catch shit like that, but that's truly a moment when sous chef is watching, listening, and intently learning.. that gave me a great chuckle.. cook well fellas.. I love this concept. Keep doing it. Cheers boys. Also I'm sure a ton of comments already told ya.. but Amuse bouche translates to "Amuse the mouth" and generally is a complimentary starter to get the palate excited for the courses to come...
I'm black and Italian and yes I look young as fuck... I learned how to cook at an early age. I have to try this recipie. Thanks Tommy, you're a gentleman and a great chef.
This looks ridiculous, I'm a Mexican girl from l.a but there is something about these Italian boys that rev my engine, watching two grown men excited to cook, my god I'm in heaven
Yes, Tommy. Yes. As an Italian boy who learned to cook from a wooden spoon wielding bippidy boopidy Italian grandma, I want more of this. Make mine 95% the same way, but with some homemade tomato sauce instead of tomato paste, and no celery. Subbing to the Patreon to see more of Tommy cooking.
The patience Tommy has for Chris is cute as hell. Love that Tom is obviously an excellent cook and just deals with the sponge flipping the dang meat 8000 times. Like a good papa he lets him learn on his own. God bless
I watch a fuck ton of cooking youtube and this video is extremely high quality. I could easily watch an hour long cooking video with stuff island more than twice a month. Wonderful, subbing to the paych
This intro; the behind the scenes. The cinematography and editing. Pair that with you two fuckin’ psychos and this makes some fantastic entertainment. This is genuinely special. Dope!
Man I love this. It’s like cooking with family without all the fighting. So great to see O’Conner got pulled out of his dungeon by you guys and took him under the wing. He’s an absolute specimen and this whole thing is very enjoyable to watch. Thanks boys cheers.
Goddamn, fantastic work from everyone. Burke, you're the man. Tommy, you're an artist. Chris, stop burpin on the food, I love you. Shoutout Clay and Mike, the fellaz.
I would pay even more for regular content of the boys walking through the neighborhood just having a bullshit session. This is incredibly well done and amazing content.
i was really hoping chris was gonna say the way he proved he was dreaming was looking up at a waterfall and its the faucet from his bathroom sink of the home he grew up in.
I would argue the best episode yet, this looks so delicious. I've loved all the recipes so far and I'm so stoked to try and make this. Fantastic podcast, Look At Dish is the highlight of my week. Love you boys, love cooking, keep it up. 🤘
this is so good. love the comedy world right now. all my favorite stand ups have their own podcasts and they all guest spot on eachothers. its like when ray romano and kevin james did crossover episodes of everybody loves raymond/king of queens. hearing santino and even shane talk about chris, then watching this and seeing chris in action. plus the most recent LoS basketball drama. its a great time to be alive
This is amazing! I’m trying to learn how to cook now and this is the show I need!! Glad to see you got O’Conner chopping stuff instead of wandering around the kitchen aimlessly
What a great ep that was. As a Patreon member, I'm fuckin stoked that this one is free. Get more people on the fuckin paytch. Also, is anyone else concerned that Chris may one day push a man off a boat in real life to test out if he's dreaming or not? God forbid things get too good for him and he starts questioning reality.
I would love to see either H. Foley or Kippy on the show. Would love to see them have a nicel non garbage meal . Maybe like a 2 hour episode of the prepping and eating afterwards. Keep up the good work.
And Congratulations boiz, wasn't sure bout the Patch (you guys being a new podcast and all). However, this is so cool, creative, well shot/edited and hilarious. I love cooking and follow many channels on TH-cam, this is a high caliber show

@@kswindl depends on how meaty you want it I guess
Id love to see Tommy do something with Tim Dillon, not because I think they would synergise, but because it'be great to see the world's straightest gay guy hang out with the world's gayest straight guy
This is a vastly underrated comment. 🐢
Hahaha that’s the troot
The fun part is figuring out which dude fits which role in this statement 😂
This comment deserves more
Tommy's not gay he's just really Italian lol
It’s so stunning and beautiful to see two husbands making and sharing dinner together.
Diversity is our strength!
He even shows care about how his husbands b-hole feels after the act of love ❤️
It's a breath of fresh air to see masculine gay couple isn't it? Although Tommy has a hint of being the wife lol
They could raise the gayest boy in the history of mankind. He would rule the world, nobody would remember Alexander the great anymore.
DR ADOLPH SPONGE IN TEARS 😭
The contrast between this brilliant production and the horrorshow that is MSSP lighting and production in THE EXACT SAME apartment is unreal.
Is it the same apartment or same apartment building?

I feel like everyone needs a roommate like Tommy. He's so good for Chris. These dudes are soulmates.
Pulled the guy away from darkness and showing him the world. And tell you what, the world loves him.
This looks ridiculous, I'm a Mexican girl from l.a but there is something about these Italian boys that rev my engine, watching two grown men excited to cook, my god I'm in heaven

Dude the sponge crying is the funniest thing ever hahah
The patience Tommy has for Chris is cute as hell. Love that Tom is obviously an excellent cook and just deals with the sponge flipping the dang meat 8000 times. Like a good papa he lets him learn on his own. God bless
I’m a chef. And I love comedy. This was a match made in heaven. Hope to see a lot more of this
Was anyone else worried Chris would lose a finger cutting carrots and onions? Lmfao. My first time seeing this series on Stuff Island, great content.
The opera in the back really ties this one together.
im waiting for a nuke to drop and the brotherhood of steel to recruit me, but yes very classy
Tommy is 100% correct. Beef Short Ribs with Polenta is one of the best cold weather meals. It's better than making a Chili or a Stew.
I watch a fuck ton of cooking youtube and this video is extremely high quality. I could easily watch an hour long cooking video with stuff island more than twice a month. Wonderful, subbing to the paych
“YEAH KNOW WHAT?!… Look.. times are changin”
"We should start drinkin'" "these onions look like shit" - Tommy Pope
That got me good
This intro; the behind the scenes. The cinematography and editing. Pair that with you two fuckin’ psychos and this makes some fantastic entertainment. This is genuinely special. Dope!
Look at dish is amazing, keen for the charter
Man I love this. It’s like cooking with family without all the fighting. So great to see O’Conner got pulled out of his dungeon by you guys and took him under the wing. He’s an absolute specimen and this whole thing is very enjoyable to watch. Thanks boys cheers.
Damn this the best cooking show I ever seen.
Legit one of my favorite series. The boys kill it every time, and Burke always outdoes himself with the production. Keep on keepin on 🤙
This was brilliant. Get all the Philly kids on this trip and you’ll have something really special. This vibe is why I loved Louie
Well. You got me guys. The check is in the mail.
Sponge has gone full psycho. "Might be dreaming, let's commit a murder to test it out."
Goddamn, fantastic work from everyone. Burke, you're the man. Tommy, you're an artist. Chris, stop burpin on the food, I love you. Shoutout Clay and Mike, the fellaz.
bros this is very well put together, the walk and talk is on point! this could be on TV.
not gonna lie, i was excited when i saw this drop in my feed.
"This is atrocious. This is what they put on McDonald's cheeseburgers." hahahahhahaha
This feels like two sons making their mom dinner after braking windows around the house, they're even matching
This episode alone, has convinced me to join the page. Real classy!
Boys more cooking. This is fucking great
This is the greatest cooking show ever. Period.
Content house has finally morphed into it’s incubation
The production on these is far better than it has any right to be and just keeps getting better. Fawwwkinnn LOOKATDISH!
Holy shit this is shot really well. Better than the vast majority of other cooking shows and it’s funny as shit.
This video along with the Philly cheesesteaks episode are by far my favorite of any cooking shows
They actually did it. Thanks Tommy for more free content!
I would pay even more for regular content of the boys walking through the neighborhood just having a bullshit session. This is incredibly well done and amazing content.
The music is fantastic! The editing is awesome!
Great food, great show and great guys. 💫
i was really hoping chris was gonna say the way he proved he was dreaming was looking up at a waterfall and its the faucet from his bathroom sink of the home he grew up in.

The boys are killing it.

Gonna hear about Chris pushing someone in front of a car cause he thought he was dreaming
Lol all the closeups of the O'Condor tasting the food was a brilliant touch in the opening
The peasants get a free dish! The quality on this Sponge, is top notch.
