@@dynamicvehiclesimulation8633sadly won’t ever happen, the DD8 won’t fit into the configuration that they design the C2, also(still waiting on confirmation on this) but it sounds like the HDX2 won’t have the DD8 due to new EPA regulations. I’ve always been a larger engine fan, particularly the L9 and won’t order anything other than that for our terrain, and they plan to get rid of both the L9 and DD8… again, still waiting from Detroit to see what goes on, but the L9 is definitely going away
@@Bomo7 Ahh, that’s a bummer, but thanks for the information. My biggest fault with the B6.7 is its performance when loaded with kids and equipment, so it’ll be…less than great if that becomes the only option on the HDX2.
@ I very much agree… I will never order anything but the L9… unfortunately both the T3 and HDX2 will be disbanding it, was also part of the reason the IC RE went away(along with poor sales). It would’ve cost too much to redesign to another engine for what they sold. Cummins has however announced a new engine, the X10, which replaces the L9 for the 2027 EPA regulations, but it’s unconfirmed whether Thomas or Bluebird will use it yet. My fingers are crossed that they do

Thanks for uploading this. This is my first time hearing a DD8 and it sounds like cross between a MBE906 and a DD5.
