Steve Howe is simply one of the best guitar players ever. This was just a warmup for him.

Yes…one of the early pioneers of Prog Rock! This band was on another level…even by today’s standards!
Good reaction…you guys are slowly getting the feel for this genre!

Prog is an acquired taste. I have to listen to albums 3 times before it sinks in

Every modern interview I've ever seen with him starts with the same question: How do you feel about To Be Continued?? He's always so enthusiastic about it and you can be guaranteed that at some point, he'll start vocalizing one of his tracks. Fella's still got a lot of life in him too. Saw him performing with Rick and Trevor Rabin in 2017, he still sounds the same as 50 years ago and does a lot of on-stage antics.

I love YES, such an awesome band, especially live. Jon’s lyrics are not straight forward and not always easy to decipher.
Not to get too into it … you so right on social media, and people in general. I find people to be wired so differently from one another. In many ways social media has opened Pandora’s box and given like minded to easily connect.

Great! YES is 1of the greatest prog rock bands. I dare say I enjoy it even more than Rush.

    • @0okamino
      @0okamino 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I wouldn’t be surprised if Rush agreed with you on that. Not just because they’re humble guys, but because they also recognize such greatness in others.

I was growing up with bands like YES and Pink Floyd etc. My father was a great fan and so I know all from Yes and I love it. When I was older I was 3 times in a concert and it was everytime incredibly horny.
This is one little moment of the great stuff of their!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And the sythesizer-player Rick Wakeman was one of the best ever!
You need to hear , really:)

Saw Yes “in the round” in the Inglewood Forum as well. 4th row. Slept out to line up for those tickets.

Although the studio versions are great, the live album Yessongs added a bit of emotion that takes it to the next level. I definitely recommend the live Yessongs versions to react to.

It did´nt matter what you looked like, it was more about the music, to easy to be critical 50 years later, besides which we all thought we looked great.

Back in the seventies when I was driving along way through the woods in Eastern Arizona I could never decide which 8-track to put in, Pink Floyd or Yes? The
70s were an incredible time to grow up concerning music!! I mean if it wasn't something from these two groups it was the who or David Bowie or the Rolling Stones or Zeppelin and on and on!! But the first two groups I mentioned were my favorites but I favored Pink Floyd but Yes wasn't far behind but they both were still ahead of everyone else!!

I don’t want to hear about your superficial comments about how musicians looked.
You have the wrong album cover up for the whole time. This song is not on that album.
