Fujiyama, take me too. Now she's gone, my life is through, Fujiyama. Show me where she stood and fell. There I'll stand and fall, as well, Fujiyama. When she heard I died at sea, She was bent on joining me, Fujiyama. Unbeknown to her I'd live, Till I'd have a life to give, Fujiyama. Coming home I'd come too late, Tide, alone, would seal our fate, Fujiyama. Fujiyama, when I'm gone, Tell the world that love lives on, Fujiyama.
its been years since i first heard this one, i keep coming back to it time and time again a strange thing i noticed is the comments on the video.. the video was uploaded in 2010, 8 years ago as of writing this comment the first comment was made 5 years ago, the next 2 years ago and after that they are all made 1 year ago from now, with one being made last week does anyone know if something happened with Moondog or his music about a year ago? it seems like a big jump happened somewhere a between 1-2 years from now
It started getting recommended to me from jazz and stuff maybe 8 months ago? So maybe something shifted in youtube's music recommending algorithms. Can't be happier about it though, I doubt I ever would've found Moondog if it weren't for youtube's fickle ways.
Wow! I had a Moondog phase about a year back but never came across this one, IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!
masterpiece
Man, this piece has been literally haunting me, glad I found it once again
This is a really good piece of music
Fujiyama, take me too.
Now she's gone, my life is through,
Fujiyama.
Show me where she stood and fell.
There I'll stand and fall, as well,
Fujiyama.
When she heard I died at sea,
She was bent on joining me,
Fujiyama.
Unbeknown to her I'd live,
Till I'd have a life to give,
Fujiyama.
Coming home I'd come too late,
Tide, alone, would seal our fate,
Fujiyama.
Fujiyama, when I'm gone,
Tell the world that love lives on,
Fujiyama.
Thank you for sharing the lyrics to this extraordinarily beautiful masterpiece.
Anybody has the lyrics/poem maybe? at the beggining?
Such a moving and beautiful piece. Thanks for uploading!
