I was extremely disappointed that they didn't show that armor in that game. I would have been happy if they at least included it as an easter egg, rather than just not including that armor at all and pretend that AC brotherhood didn't exist.

Yeah I haven't finished my AC2 rerun yet. So, haven't gotten to this wonderful moment again, especially since it puts you back in near (or completely, kind of forgot) unbreakable armor again. Wasn't as flashy professional as Altaïr's but still got the job done. Unfortunately for me, however, 1st playthru, I only used it in the DLC DaVinci Disappearance since I tackled the final Romulus content late.
I remember unlocking this outfit as a kid for the first time after hours of grinding and then being disappointed by how ugly it looks, switched back to Ezio's normal outfit, its much better.
@@shadowinthenight26I think that Armor is just as strong as the Brutus armor. The only downside to it is that you need to continually repair the armor every now & then. If anything I think it’s 1 point down on the resistance part of the armor but provides the same amount of health. Could be wrong though. Haven’t played it in years
Brotherhood was my first AC. I had potato pc back then and this game ran at 10-15 fps at best. But I was so amazed by it that I didn't care and actually completed the game at that fps, and enjoyed it a lot. Good old days.
When I played AC 1 for the first time (thr year it came out), my PC could barely even reproduce the game file (the floor would sometimes literally disappear). But I didn't care, I finished the game and enjoyed every second.
Same with me!!! I had a duo core then with 2 Gigs of RAM. I used to keep my camera down wards which actually used to improve the fps. The fact that the more the NPCs on the screen the more sloppy the game becomes. I even used eagle vision most of the time not to detect targets but to increase the fps. 😆 Good old days were they...

Same! I got to this place too early and stumbled upon the locked room with the armor without the key/crest to open it. When I was able to claim this armor, I ran around for about an hour trying to find it again. It was a fun area, just kept getting lost.
When games had this special feeling, you play and work for hours just to get "the legendary arm". In the new AC games you just get 1.000 different weapons and armors and nothing feels special anymore
I had just unlocked this last night too. It's alright, if anything I'd just wear the Drachen Armor since it's basically a darker knight version of Ezio almost.

I exclusively used the Dagger of Brutus until the end of the game. Years later when the Ezio trilogy was remastered I played Brotherhood again but in a specific order whereby I unlocked the dagger at the earliest point. Also did the same with the Sword of Vlad Tepes in Revelations.
This armor was once in a possession by the Roman Hidden One Marcus Junius Brutus. I'm disappointed it does not appear in Assassin's Creed Origins, i wish Brutus wore this armor when he assassinated Julius Ceasar that would have been cool to see.
It's good for a Roman era armor and has the same defence like the Altair armor the craftsman was a genius. The bulkiness dosn't fit now but back then...
I was disappointed as a kid when I got this, because I had played all of the story and I imagined playing through the game in this outfit would have been magical. I just attacked random guards and people, pretty much anyone in this outfit for a good hour til I got bored. Brotherhood and number 2 were the best. To this day the only 2 games I've ever completed 100% FULLY. EVER. No other games have made me want to spend hours grinding and collecting every single thing, achievement and feeling. I play MMOs and eat, sleep, breathe that but it's not the same tbh. Thanks for taking me down memory lane. I appreciate it.
Dude the only one that i loved in all AC games was the armor in AC Blackflag in the Brotherhood temple, i didn’t even use the one in the mansion. I also was disappointed a bit in the Syndicate one since i collected every single music box before i finished sequence 6.
I liked the Brutus armour, maybe the coat could've been shorter, or maybe the left shoulder could've had less clipping issues, but I genuinely loved how the set looked.
The only thing I really like about the outfit was the dagger that came along with it. Personally I even as kid I thought it looked to heavy and large for an assassins to wear. But I usually just stick with default robes in each game anyhow.
To be honest, I don't like this armor. Back when this game came out I don't remember to unlock it at all, but unlocking it now and playing with it, feels kinda... meh. The armor itself looks overdesigned. Too bulky, too heavy and too unpractical. Like, try to wear that armor in real life and climb up some small fence or wall. I doubt that you could even pull up, not talking about climbing lol. So yeah, when I put this armor for Ezio, is just because it doesn't take damage and doesn't need repair. And then, I just apply one of those bonus costumes for him on top, to make him look more cooler. Cause that way, I will keep Ezio look practical, in terms of his costume, and won't need any repair for his armor. It just sucks that they didn't added his original costume from AC2 as a bonus one. Like, you still has it in the game in Ezio memories quests, but somehow Ubisoft didn't bothered to make it available as a bonus costume.
I remember being hyped when I got altair's armor in AC2. Then when I got this armor I was so disappointed that my tiny brain mustered enough braincells that made me want to drop the game and never finish it. Good memories

We got this… then went right back to black outfit. If the hood was also black, then Mabye I’d try it longer. I typically stay with all black, all white, with slight accent colors. That’s my typical preference.
Hate section with secret outfit in Unity.Wast my time just for rags without additional properties.Also dissapointed about Syndicate. Spend some time with casket just to achive costume only for Evie( play all the time for Jackob, only if nessesary for Evie)

I did the Seusenhofer quest and even if the armor was more weak it looks more better than the Brutus outfit.

I switched to the armor of altaïr so that i keep the Health and resistance from brutus but without the ugliness
With the Ezio Trilogy remake, I always throw the Helmschmied Drachen skin over Brutus's stuff since this oitfit just doesnt look Assassiny enough

I searched for days looking for a way to remove the damn shoulder pads they make you buy. I didn't know it was actually possible.
