This is very strange that some stores/reps would activate with other people's IDs. Something I have heard of before is employees using their own IDs, but that's not the same. DISH needs to do a way better job cracking down on reps who just want a quick buck from commissions.

Just left boost mobile after being with them for 11 years!! The S22 ultra preorder fiasco was one of the last straws but when I couldnt even use my own funds to purchase an add-on service like todo mexico...and then when I did pay for it separately I had no service while in mexico the entire time!!! Spoke with numerous CSRs via chat with no way to resolve unless I called a number and it was a number I could not call while out of the country. As of the day I ported out it still has a record of my payment for the Add on service but it was never activated I gave up on trying to fight with them. Just ported over to Mint and so far so good.

While I’m not a victim of this I went to a boost mobile store to set up a new phone and transfer my sim. They are charging $35 for this when it’s something you can do yourself in 2 seconds and boost mobile already provides free with live chat support and customer support. All I needed to know was which imei number do I use as the new phone has two and they withheld that information just so they could charge me to do it themselves. It’s really scummy and I just figured it out myself and left store. I’m not sure if this is a location based thing but it’s definitely not something they should be charging for especially $35.

Fraud is something real but this sounds like a bit of fear mongering. Identification is “asked,” for valid marketing reasons, to discourage frequent switchers, to combat consumer scammers and to scrub addresses to sell additional services to heads of households. Private personal information is something else that has a level of gate keeping that should be happening for a post-paid of service, like a Boost Infinite; assuming a credit pull is needed. I love the content and Dish has some real issues but there are not enough details here.

    • @peskylogicchillinsky6007Futube
      @peskylogicchillinsky6007Futube ปีที่แล้ว

It’s not. It’s real. They need to stop having call centers with our personal information in India across the freaking planet and that goes for banks and every other call center with scammers in India who are desperate for money. Ask me how I know? Ask me…India is a trash place full of trashy people.

I've spun the wheel most days for 18 months straight with a total of 400 spins. My results are:
92% of wins are 5 coins,
6% of wins are 10 coins,
0.5% of wins are 25 coins,
    The remaining 1.5 % was:
    50 coins x 3
    100 coins x 1
    250 coins x 1
    500 coins x 1
Note: After 400 spins, I've NEVER hit the 5000 coin amount, and 368 spins landed on only 5 coins. Rigged? Clearly.

Well here's another reason to hate Boost but the main reason I hate them is because when you have the Unlimited plan they state it's Unlimited Talk, Text And Data but what they fail to say is they throttle your speeds to below 1 Mbps and it's like dial-up all over again that's why I changed from Boost to Cricket best decision I made I get better coverage and true High Speed Data I Love Cricket Wireless and wouldn't change unless I absolutely had to if they went out of business etc but I will be sticking to carriers that run on the AT&T Network or AT&T themselves since they got the best coverage in Rural areas like were I live at plus there's a tower half a mile down the road from my house I can literally see the Red light flashing at night from my house so I'm set.

Boost is scamming ppl through the ACP program, as well, by not applying the credit to the account but still charging customers their regular payment while getting reimbursed by ACP. Has anyone gone through that? Also, the ACP program hasn't completely ended, either. So, if you're an active member of ACP, you’ll still receive a partial credit until funds have completely dissolved.

Huge love/hate relationship with the company. Half the time I wish other companies could pull off their pricing and features in their plans/apps, the other half I wish they could just get their crap together and properly stick to deadlines/be reliable.
I'm hard pressed to think of other companies with such divergent customer experiences and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. It's like it's just luck of the draw.
