the problem is its a hero shooter. so in time the added characters will power creep the game and create constant meta switches and balance issues. hopefully they keep it simple

@@wrije i do enjoy games that have evolving metas. its always more enjoyable in the early stages of the games when there isn't a meta set due to new balance patches etc. overwatch was not a terrible game. Maybe you just were not a fan of the genre, its not my favorite either.
I don't know if chat told you, but if you go the dedsec operators with the phone gadget, you can hack the shields from any distance and it make the shield yours. hope this helps :)
been doing this nonstop. so funny to watch them be confused when they figure out that they cant shoot through their shield. also turned many a game because they cant rely on their shields

I really dont suggest using dx12 i noticed the least amount of input lag when using dx11 and disabling fullscreen optimizations for proper fullscreen. Game runs and feels like butter with it off.
That might just be different default settings tho, but thanks for sharing
For me exactly the opposite. Games run much smoother at dx12
Yes I always disable dx12 it always gives me that floaty mouse feel in games that use it.
I'll definitely check that out. I'm pretty sure it really does just depends on the person's computer and hardware. For me I'm running a 4070, i9, 32gb ram. Nothing is oc. So maybe dx11 works better. I'll come back to this comment later

Loving the Game so far, the most annoying part i encountered is the weird Jump around players doing in a 1v1 Gunfight
Yeah you can bunny hop and move in the air so you can do a lot more strafing.
Yeah I can see the movement needing to be fixed. Just from watching it looks like players are attempting to air strafe, and the game doesn't really embrace that lol.
@@marcotte6608 The air strafing is fantastic. I can jump backwards through a doorway whilst shooting and strafe into cover. I can circle strafe shoulder peak. I can jump and turn keeping momentum round corners. I can slide out on an enemy and then jump and strafe back to throw aim off. All on controller, the movement is great.
They are nerfing that coming up

There are definitely some things that can be fixed and added in the game. The game hasn't even been out for a whole week yet so just let the game breathe.
Knowing ubisoft they're probably gonna get a little greedy with the money which the people obviously won't like, and they won't care.
I see great things for this game if it can get some good updates, and has a good team behind it which I'm really hoping they do. I think it could be a huge game.
This game gives me black ops 3 vibes without jetpacks.
almost feels a little more like bo4 gameplay then bo3 the movement was slower a bit in bo4 but the way the abilities and everything feels. way similar. (not to mention there was indeed no jetpacks in bo4 was boots on ground w a class that had grapple hook :D) so ass as a game though hated bo4
10:38 I'm pretty sure they have a sbmm queue you can only join in low levels for this specific reason. Could be wrong though.

I'm on older hardware using dx12 bc the dx11 or whatever is default made my game have crazy frame drops and seemed to fix a performance degradation issue, but changed it to that on my own from testing.

Bubble ult into last 5-10% generally gets you the win if they emp or run in and suicide you just drop a second bubble ult for guareteed win.

The game does give attachments provided you use the preset loadouts instead of custom. Although the presets are kinda garbage.

They need to nerf the shield uptime it should be like 6-8 seconds max, the fire bomb should have a aoe nerf like 2/3, spider should make more noise, libertad healing station should last 2/3 of the time, fire drone lasting damage should be halved it shouldn't make something unpushable just give a good advantage, 2/3 uptime on wall hacks. overall just make it so the abilities have to be used more cautiously. the guns are pretty good adding more flinch would be nice. making sights not take up a slot would be nice but I'm good with iron sights so I see that as a win. some of the maps are completely unplayable to me but I'm not too annoyed by that. just nerfing abilities would make the game so much better i refuse to camp one spot for really any amount of time because my momma didnt raise no bitch and right now theres only been a few times ive died to something that wasnt an ability, 2 or more people preaiming me (aka me being overaggressive) or desync in some of the games where its been bad like .5-3 seconds of desync.
Riot made CS-Overwatch and now Ubisoft made CoD-Overwatch.
This game brought back that original call of duty feel !
Sniping is so satisfying in this game
For meee the net code / desync is unplayable but the movement and shooting seems okayyy, again can’t really tell due to hit reg and whatever still enjoying my time a lot
The game sucks idk why it is being pushed so hard. Compare the way this game feels to apex and its not even a contest. Everything feels sloppy, the hit registration is bad, the animations suck. The game just feels sluggish to play.

Not particularly, but it’s a game we asked for an a game we will play because of the prioritization of the devs match “this” community

I don't recall any CoD title ever causing me to cheer and squeal and scream and laugh out loud the way that XDefiant does. This game is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. I love that one match I'm slaying and the next match I'm completely outclassed.
All the cod killers and Tarkov killers age so well… just gotta come up with an experience no one else can provide. Til then those games will never die
It's just old cod mp gameplay with abilities. Game can't really fail on that aspect unless Ubisoft just screws up. Hit reg issues at times still, server latency no matter your "ping" you'll be around the corner but they'll be killing you. Games alright for what it is, definitely better than cod mp by miles currently.
If they fine tune this game and the client on pc it could be real nice.
The gun play feels great
PLEASE do not take shrouds advice at 2:08. If you're using older parts in your pc, use dx11 when you can. If you have newer parts on a higher end system use dx12 where you can. Also depends on how well the devs used each but :/.

this game is separate from overwatch in the sense that you can individually make a difference, in overwatch you NEED your team all in sync

Just an fyi when you disable v sync on this game and don’t cap the fps limit it will make your gpu pull the max power possible 24/7 even in the menu. So if your running a 4090 it’ll be pulling like 500watts~ and those 12vhighpwr cables are sketchy as fuck

It looks good but games really aren’t pushing the limits much these days, I mean this could have easily come out looking like this 5+ years ago. Really want to see some revolutionary type of game that pushes the limits far beyond what exists. When Battlefield 3 came out using Frostbite engine it was leagues above anything before it. We need more of this!

its less hitreg and more networking issues, the netcode is what makes it seem that way. The hit reg is close to perfect, but the delay due to the netcode is what fucks it up.

My main complaint is the servers ive died plenty of times around a corner or have gotten hitmarkers with snipers just to see the guy who killed me is at 100/120hp other than that the game is fun just wish the ttk was a tad lower and abilities werent so busted other than that i enjoy it sniping feels amazing whenever you dont hitmarker the upper body with a tac 50
Yeah man the hit markers are pretty odd, I’m sure they will fix them tho
Those actually arnt hitmarkers in a way. How it works is that on their screen they killed you before you shot, so ur shot didnt go through because you were dead. Its a networking issue not a hitmarker even tho it shows that you hit them
@@SciaticJones i was also talking about when you shoot the upper body and the arms are in the way instead of doing upper body damage it counts it as a arm shot its annoying considering thats a good chunk of the upper body hitbox

Take all the OW elements and make them kill streaks and it fixes the game
ruins* . If you get stomped youd get stomped even harder, that makes 0 sense. Thats why cod made killstreak not even stop when you die. This way works better

It’s a great game for being free. I don’t download COD anymore because it’s unreasonable to pay $70 for the same game over and over. Also COd is over 100GB where XD is like 30GB.
I hope it grows and continues to be awesome. I’m not going back to CoD in the foreseeable future, so this game will be a nice one to play.
I love how veteran FPS devs saw the worst meta in Overwatch (ok maybe the second worst) and said yes that is something "we want in our game. That will make our game better. There's nothing wrong with adding shields in a shooter." Overwatch is starting to win the golden turd of being the worst influences in gaming.

Yeah Apex is also a BR which at the time made it like Fortnite, because that was the dominant BR at the time. Cods fan base is a shattered shell of itself at this point. Everyone wants an optimized shooter, and we are tired of giving them a chance. Time for us to love new things

@tosse006 I've been playing cod since the big red one came out. They have pooped all in the bed and down the hallway. Then tried to clean it up with the hands they are feeding it to YOU with. MULTIPLE times. You will grow tired of it one day as well
