Not a joke at all. It is similar to the scouts, yes , however, it is run by the navy and prepares these kids for a career in the navy. If these kids complete the program and enlist, they go in as E3 as opposed to E1. Or they have the opportunity to go NROTC to become officers in the Navy. It's a great program that's been around since the 50s.
Lol, if you say so, a lot of those kids in the video did not look to enthused. I guess it's better than being on the streets causing mischief.@@dbull78

His plans right now are to go into the NROTC program and attend OSU. But is striving for career naval officer.
He hasn't decided yet, but he plans on making the military his career.
