'Cats in Quarantine' is a tribute to Dame Gillian Lynne. 'Cats in Quarantine' features 333 cast members from productions of Cats around the world dancing to Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic music, whilst in isolation. This video brings together cast members from London, New York, Toronto, Zurich, Vienna, Germany, Australia, South Africa, Moscow, South Korea, UK tours, US National tours, International tours, the Royal Caribbean Cruise, and the hugely successful 1998 film. The video also features original London cast members: Bonnie Langford, Seeta Indrani, Luke Baxter and original Broadway company members: Héctor Jaime Mercado, Herman Sebek, Christine Langner, Steven Hack, Marléne Danielle and Ken Page.

You have no idea how much this means to lifelong Cats fans like myself. As a kid, I watched the 1998 video until the tape wore out and it was the first show I ever saw live. More recently, I have attended the North American tour 3 times since it started a little over a year ago. Thank you for putting this video together, Mr. Mistoffelees. Always remember that, in sharing that character with audiences, you join the immortal ranks of Wayne Sleep, Timothy Scott, and Jacob Brent in that you brought such a special character to life. I am so thankful to you and all those who carry on the Cats legacy; there is truly no other show like it. Hopefully someday I will see you perform live Mr. Francis!
Sadly the new tour does not use Gillians choreography as originally intended for the show. It is a homage and an adaptation without her consent.
Do hope you find a production to see that uses it!

I want to give all of the Cat’s The Musical casts and crews joyful blessings because This is what all of the world needs now is joyful dancing and joyful music.
So wonderful to see so many fit dancers of all shapes, sizes, ages, etc. There's something so joyful about the choreography and made me want to dance again, too! Thank you for this grand collection!
Harry, this is a testament to Dame Gillian, but also to you as the love of the show and the people in it shines through your brilliant video. It is an exceptional feat of editing and recording and it was beautiful to see the many people who have played the various roles come together as one cast. I will need to watch this many times to appreciate the full beauty, but for now, thank you for sharing and bringing this spectacle to us. Stay safe to everyone involved in this, and I hope that the world will get to see this iconic show back on stage in the not too distant future. Thank you again. xx

This is astounding!!! Grateful to have participated. And what memories...36 years in the rearview mirror for me. How exhilarating to see dancers in their prime who would be performing this TODAY. Mega props to you, Harry. The editing is phenomenal and the project... just WOW!

I say this as someone who adores Gillians choreography, especially for this show, this is the greatest tribute all of you could have given her. It is a shame in her last years people who will remain unnamed tarnished her joy.
Her 10 minute Jellice Ball is iconic and it goes to show that each and every one of you had it ingrained in your memories to the point as if you just got off the stage from performing it last night.
I think she would be very proud that you all did such a fantastic job. Keep her original choreography alive - now and forever

wow......I just fell upon this now and I thought that I was up on my Cats videos....I cried from start to finish. Thank you so much. I have no words. I am sitting here recovering from the emotional rollercoaster that was! I did not expect that!! I am glowing, I am crying and I am thirsty for more.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Cats is such a huge part of my life since childhood and to be able to see so many cats from all over the world dancing to Dame Gillian's magical guided art and Sir Andrew Lloyd Weber's masterpiece means more than you know. Thank you
I am seriously freaking out at seeing this. All these people, dancing this number just brought me to smiles and tears. I’ve been in love with this musical since the 1998 movie and so just thank you for putting this all together. Everyone is stunning and again, just thank you to all the Cats cast members for participating.

we were supposed to do cats in theartre in May. Im one of the members of cast and i had a lead part so i was devastated when wecouldnt do it

Fantastic!!! As an editor myself I know just how long this meticulous continuity etc would have taken! And brilliant choreography. God I wish I could dance! Well done all involved! Stay safe x
This really cheered me up put a right smile on my face having met Jacob Brent in person so many times so to see them all again, to see them dance once more and see them safe is amazing, faces I recognised but many new up and coming again.. You can stop dancing but the dancer never leaves your heart, once a Dancer it stays in your heart forever
One of the best compilations thus far!!! Amazing choreography! I was a dancer and did musical theatre. I still don't understand why so many people don't like 'CATS'. This was beautiful!!
Bravo! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Fabulous job everyone!I got emotional.Especially during the Jelicle ball where the hand slides slowly up.I have not seen Cats live.How ever I cried watching the recorded video in 1998.It is a lot of work to dance like that.There is a certain Magic that comes through.

Harry you are such a gift to bring this to life like this. And to have been able to be part of this video as a former Tugger (1st National Tour, '86-87), a double thrill! Tears here...took me right back to that crazy wonderful time with these crazy wonderful people, and so touching to see that the next generation has taken the Jellicle torch we have passed and continues to this day. Dancing through the quarantine, and love and joy and passion will triumph in the end always...no, not always...now and forever!

A quite brilliant video, and a wonderful tribute to Dame Gillian Lynne. What particularly made me weep with joy and admiration was the amazing muscle memory that remains in all those incredible dancers. So this is also a great tribute to their dedication, talent and excellence.
This is beautiful and fantastic and amazing. To see so many dancers around the globe is heartfelt and appreciated, I wish you would have seen Rene Ceballos' solo in the jellicle ball. When she left , no one could fill her shoes, so it then became the "men's " section. Forever. RIP my beauty.

I was able to see a video of the original Broadway cast in the New York Public Library archives. It was great to finally put faces to the soundtrack I'd heard so many times. And this tribute today is amazing, thank you for sharing!

Wonderful memories when I visited London in April 1990 and saw the live show.The cats movements were so realistic and enchanting , the dancing was memorable. Thank you everyone for the huge effort of putting this all together, your dedication to the performing arts
I have being waiting a long time for time to see Cats as we have seen other musical during our lock down but far this is amazing especially seeing a few of the amazing cast from the 1998 movie .I would have loved to have seen more but understand how big Cats is from starting off in the Theater and around the world as well as doing the movie. The cast were amazing I would love to see Cats come back to our stage even for a tour or in the west end I would certainly get a ticket. Thank you for putting this together for all cats fans around the UK and around the world.

Guy-Paul De St Germain I ran away to Cornwall in 91, built a sound studio which was used by John Partridge etc for cats tour cast single. No idea what happened to it.

WOW!!!! I saw this show 3 times and was just blown away by the creativity, joyous energy, emotions, talent and brilliance of it! BRAVO to everyone involved and special kudos to Harry Francis for this marvelous, expertly crafted creation! Don't really know why I got so emotional watching this, but there is great power here.

This is just amazing!!! I fell in love with Cats nearly 20 years ago, and I wish I could see it again live, so this is... glorious. Amazing dancing, and seeing the energy and love of so so many performers around the world is such a joyous feeling! (And I can't begin to imagine what went into putting this together.)
💕 ❤️ makes me so emotional to see all these great performers. Love CATS, used to teach me Victoria’s Dance and the Jellicle Ball by taping bits of performances from ads, news clips or TV performances (that was before the VHS was released) and just want to dance along 🙈 many thanks for this!
I am absolutely stunned by this, this was such a joy to watch! I hope i can get an opportunity to see the production in person once this difficult time is over. I've been listening to the Japanese cast recording this past week!

I absolutely loved this, and yet at the same time would love to see all these cats out of their homes, back on the stage and being able to sit back in our seats in the audience. They're absolutely amazing and warmed my soul.
