@@GunnerDunn-sy6wg Botany Bay is a good spot for monster Jewfish lots of marinas around for bream and flathead one guy I know caught a 114cm mulloway out of Botany Bay on 6lb line bream gear

Heyyyy Briggsy , you will be suprised at how diffcult it is to get TD reels or rods is south africa .... its crazy my man and if you do find some it will cost you a arm or leg.

How do you like the new TD black compared to your Sol bro ?
Hi Mate, it's a great little reel for the price, I can feel the difference between it and the Sol (SOL being a bit nicer) and I can feel the difference again from the Sol up to the Certate (Certate very nice). Best thing to do if you're looking for a new reel is head into your local tackle store and have a feel of a few different reels within your price range. The hands on feel is the only way to separate gear with similar specs/price and get the one that you like the most!
Actually if you're anywhere near the gold coast AFTA is on next month and Daiwa along with all the other big brands have big booths with all their gear. It's a great way to compare everything all at once and get a personal feeling/guide for future gear you might want.

Its hard I'm in tassie and i mainly do offshore stuff but getting into my trout fishing this trout season so need a new reel and rod combo wanted a good 2000, Was going to get the Sol or Certate but just saw the new TD Blacks thought i'd ask the question hard choice dont want to break the bank on the reel, and end up with a low end rod, want something decent both ways. Loving the content bro would love to see some trout fishing one day that would be sick!
