How to Clean and Lube yoyo bearings - My method

    Here's my method on how I clean and lube my yoyo bearings, in place of isopropyl alchool, mineral spirits or Acetone100% can be used. Many people don't lube the bearing once cleaned, however I like to apply this minimal drop of lube to protect the metal of the bearing. At the end of the day, metal on metal movement needs lubrication. Ceramic bearing are not to be lubed. Let me know what you guys think!

    I'm missing a proper "yoyo parts container"
    I do almost the same as you, only thing different is that I leave the bearing soaking for a minimum of 30 min and then I start to spin it. Soak-spin-soak-spin and I repeat until I feel it's good hehe

      So far this 5 minutes method had always worked perfectly. But I can see your point, keeping it soaked will wash away any oily residue. I'm just too lazy to wait 30 minutes 😁 thanks a lot btw
