So So beautiful! I've grown several Japanese Maples in pots and gave a lot of them away to friends who fell in love. I've also moved several into my yard and I love that they stayed small after growing in a pot for several years. This has inspired me to keep it going,....I love this hobby!
A spectacular garden of Japanese Maples. Very nice music and a very well-done video. I do Bonsai of a few different tree species with special interest in Japanese Maples; all to shape my Zen Garden. Thank you for sharing.
It did my heart good to see this gorgeous, beautifully arranged and presented collection, thankyou! What cracked it for me though, was the discretely tidied collection of kids toys which just sneaked into the frame at one point. Just wonderful.
Wow! So healthy looking trees. Very beautiful. Japanese maples is my huge passion, unfortunately I live in North Europe, so... But I do have 3 two years old trees growing in my garden, from the seeds I picked from some trees when I was in Japan 😂 Fingers grossed!
No problem. Beni Hoshi, also know as Ruby Stars, is pretty easy to find at nurseries in the Pacific Northwest. Japanese Princess is less common but I saw several available in Oregon (where it was discovered) last Spring when I was visitng nurseries. The larger online nurseries carry both, as well.
So many beautiful trees. I've just started collecting JM and I'm currently looking for information about caring for Beni Hoshi. I'm in zone 6 with warm humid summers and would like to place it in full sun. Yours is beautiful. Can you provide some tips about what you are doing to keep your tree so beautiful? TIA
Love your trees! Love the Skinshape too! I have some container JM’s too... so I’m going to ask the question no one really agrees on... when do you prune?
I’m still learning. I’ve asked nursery workers, growers and bonsai folks. I discovered you can prune year round, in moderation. When trees are dormant structural pruning is beneficial as you can see the branching. Once trees start waking up, you can identify die back and prune there. Once leafed out you can do aesthetic pruning. The common thing I learned is try not prune more than 30% of the foliage per year. If I need to make a big cut when the tree is awake, I use cut paste to seal it quickly. I hope that helps. I’m always learning more.
How are you going to manage the "bloodgood", since it will reach up to 20 feet tall? I would like to plant it in ground but I'm afraid it's a bit too much.
I’m no expert but it requires root pruning every few growing seasons and regular foliage reduction. This is in the PNW. If you’d like a smaller version check out ‘Shaina’ or ‘Twombly’s Red Sentinel’ for a columnar version.
the second japanese red that focuses on the video how tall it grew I have one and I want to see how tall it grows Thank you. mine each leaf has 5 or 5 petals I think it's the same.
I bought from Lowe’s it was three of them when I bought it was red leaves but when I put on the ground later on the leave it change into yellow and gold color I wondering why🤷♀
I’ll try to do a better job of sharing that tree. I didn’t realize so many folks would enjoy it. It’s covered in buds so I’m hopeful for a nice growing season.
Beautiful nice music to Are you willing to share how you care and feed please. Thank you for this video very nice iv 20 but I dont have Japanese princess I will have to look out for one. lovely
Sure. Conifers or maples? In ground or in containers? Care and feeding differs greatly. The Japanese Princess cultivar is from Oregon so it’s easier to find if you’re near there.
beautiful trees. we have always planted in the ground. What climate region are you in? We have several pots and want to start some Japanese Maples in pots but are unsure how to manage as we are in a cooler climate in the Great Lake Region.
I’m no expert but they are in separate order classifications within plant taxonomy. Japanese maples are sapindales and cranberry hibiscus are malvales.
Great selection in music and Trees brother i’m glad to know there’s people out there with the same taste as me, Have a nice day!!

Beautiful trees. Could you tell me the orientation of the wall that the planters are on. Do they get morning or afternoon sun. Many thanks.

This is a great video. What song is this?

Beautiful. Love the red maple. Which of the maples is a small tree, and slow growth for my small front yard?
Gorgeous collection! what a color, thanks for sharing. Are these fiberstone planters? Looks very elegant.
Very nice presentation! All they look great in container or as a bonsai, good job! Are there spring and autumn colours?
That 'Japanese Princess', geesh
I’ll try to do a better job of sharing that tree. I didn’t realize so many folks would enjoy it. It’s covered in buds so I’m hopeful for a nice growing season.
Amazing acers! Just wondering what size your container is for the mikawa yatsubusa?
Beautiful nice music to

Wooden that japanese princess is beautiful! Are all of these considered bonsai?
What size black square planter boxes are you using? They really accent your Japanese maples well.
Thanks. 20 inch cubes. I added several drain holes to them.
beautiful trees. we have always planted in the ground. What climate region are you in? We have several pots and want to start some Japanese Maples in pots but are unsure how to manage as we are in a cooler climate in the Great Lake Region.
Do you keep your acers in pots when planting them in the ground? I noticed that you have done this for some of your trees.
Why are the pots planted instead of the plants planted in the ground ?
what is the difference between japni maple leaf and hibiscu actisola
I’m no expert but they are in separate order classifications within plant taxonomy. Japanese maples are sapindales and cranberry hibiscus are malvales.
@@scarlettsgarden6047 mean same family but different plant
Wow!
Nice. How often do you repot them?
Every 2-3 growing seasons they will be root pruned and repotted unless they are going in the ground.
Where did you get those tables the maples are sitting on?
Excuse me what cane of soil needs the tree
Well draining soil. They don’t like wet feet.
How old are your mikawa and Japanese princess?
😍😍😍😍😍
Wow
Which music ?it’s too nic
very Impressing
What zone are you in?
Where do you buy seeds from?
