I agree Deborah. Target stocking Anko products is overkill. Watch the prices rise on these products too. As consumers we need to maintain wide choice and competition. I am glad to hear that Target is continuing to stock their usual clothing line as the quality is better. I copied your makeup look today and was complemented by my daughter. That is such a pity... Were the Targets busy? Here in Melbourne from what I can see the worst performing Targets were closed. It will be interesting to see how the brand develops now. At least they're still online so you can still purchase apparel and bedding and linen Target branded. Though it doesn't compare to the actual in store experience 😢

I agree, what's the point, I used to like going to target to get d8fferent decor, now theres no point in even looking at target might as well just shop k mart...we don't have a target in the largest city in NQ so we have to buy online most of my friends couldn't be bothered...laughable really...very disappointing overall...

Yes I was disappointed when I went to target to get some makeup items I was told no we only sell Kmart oxx other brands like wet & wild Elf and others gone that too was annoying

Target’s clothing ranges won’t be changed at all. They will also be keeping some of the current Target branded soft furnishings (things like bed linens, cushions, will all stay the same). Pet wares, general homewares, and makeup are the only things changing. Target is too strong of a brand to just shut up shop. Really, I don’t have an issue with them carrying Anko brand items, however, I think they still need to carry exclusives to Target. Whether it’s exclusive items under Anko (that can’t be bought at Kmart), or whether they collaborate with designers for exclusive ranges (like Target US has done), I don’t know. The overall experience in a Target store is superior to Kmart too. Kmart stores are messy.

I don’t like the changes at target. The linen and the clothes are better at target and it will be very disappointing if you can’t get quality sheets, doona covers anymore. As I said on another forum, not everyone likes the quality of Kmart items!! Yes I buy certain stuff at Kmart but I like the target homewares, not happy at all 😢

Where I live in Nth Queensland they closed down the only 2 targets we had which is a shame we only have Kmart now.
