Thank you for the recommendation, Kelly. I have been borrowing my son's gaming mic for my live online interviews. Today, I was gifted with a new Yeti from Blue for my birthday from my loving and supportive family. So happy, excited and motivated for more upcoming live online interviews! I have 3 scheduled already coming up this week to launch my 2 anthology books.

Love this Kelly, thank you once again for the content you share, it is very much appreciated. I had to send my book proposal off to Hay House last month and upload a video to TH-cam of me talking about my book proposal and I actually had so much fun recording it too, I should be finding out if I’ve won their Writers Workshop Competition soon.

Stacey, this is so great. Congrats on finishing your book proposal! I'm so glad you enjoyed the process of making a video. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it as well, but now that you know how much you enjoy that avenue of communication it will just get easier and more enjoyable. Good luck with the competition. We are rooting for you!

Kelly, you are so hilarious! Thank you for sharing this fantastic information. I’ve always said how good your videos are to anyone who will listen. You are making the world of amateur video that much better by sharing these helpful tips. Others may have good content but the message is lost due to distracting video shoot fails like the floating camera, (making me feel like I’m watching a video while on a Tilt-a-Wheel), or the off-camera (or on) remarks (“Honey, I’m making a TH-cam! Get the (dog, cat, kids) out of here!) I especially appreciate the tip about having a decent microphone for podcasts. Sound can sometimes make or break how long I listen. Thanks, Kelly!! 👍

Yay Colleen! The bigger light might actually be better, I'll be curious what you think! The smaller light is definitely more travel-friendly which I like as well. ❤️

I have almost the exact same setup. LOL That tripod looks like it has clips on the bottom that should extend the legs further. The extension stores inside the legs if you haven't tried it. Melissa @thehappyventure.

Thanks for the tech recommendations and tips. (Most of the links are not working but it's easy to work around that. Product links change.) I am working with my android phone. I was concerned about when the video starts up. You start and then fuss with your hair, so there's some blank time? Do you know if putting the title on youtube pastes it on top of your image? Can a static photo be the title image and then move immediately into the video? You send your videos to Alexandra. Do you recommend an instructional video editing video for the do-it-yourself person? Thank you for your support for Hay House publishing contestants.
