  • Hyundai iload diesel injectors made by Delphi have issues with bleeding properly. This causes the vehicle to crank but not start, or to misfire and run rough. In this video we show you how to bleed the fuel system and injectors correctly and also how to free up injectors that are already blocked. So if you have done any work on your fuel system and now have a no start situation, don't stress, this video will show you step by step how to fix your situation.

    Thanks for this info. My Captiva has this exact problem and two different motor mechanics have not been able to figure out a solution.

      @@malfamilys9122 so first question os does it have a DPF? The increasing oil level is usually caused by over fueling. Often that is caused by the vehicle being unable to regen the DPF. It keeps trying, which results in excessive amounts of fuel entering the cylinders and making its way into the sump. If it continues it could cause serious engine damage. I would advise taking it to a good mechanic or diesel specialist to have the DPF checked. If it doesn't have a DPF it could be a fault with the injectors themselves.

    Hi, I have follow all the steps it's a 4cylinder car with Delphi injectors, fuel pump has 2 couplers/electric connection s. I don't know which one should be disconnected but I tried with one one solenoid, then both together off. But car doesn't start. I suspect injectors locked but when I use scan tool and do activation test injectors activate and then if I crank car starts for 1 second. What could be wrong? Intially I had tried bleeding with injectors connected. But then I follow the procedure shown in the video but no success. Scan tool can test the injectors and apparently they are working

    Awesome video. But I did try this a couple of times and could not get any fuel mist from the glow plug ports, so I ended up sending the injectors away to get primed so hopefully I can get it running

      @gettingitdone1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh that unfortunate it didn't work for you, they can be a real issue once they're locked up. Just make sure you follow the procedure when you put them back in. Otherwise they could lock up again.

    I have a no starter VW Crafter 2.0 tdi and unplugging the valve from HPFP don't seems to raise the pressure for some reason. I suspect that there might be some other system that limits the pressure too...

      Ok another trick we have used on some vehicles, it's not ideal sometimes a last resort (I take no responsibility for any damage 😆). Is to use some engine start (ether) spray, to get it to fire, that's sometimes enough to get them going, it will diesel knock while trying to run on ether, then clear when the diesel comes through.

    If you got these injectors you can open the pipes.. start .. wait for diesel .. stop cranking ant the tightening everything op and pull the rail pressure sensor. It opens up the full pressure of 600 bar leave the car running for 30 second put it out putt everything back .. should be good .. did it this weekend and get the tip from Hyundai technician them shelves

      Most of the team they will just get jammed up. Following this procedure should allow you to free them up again.

      Follow the steps in the video to bleed the system properly. Theses injectors are a real problem to bleed but by following these steps you should get there.

      So at 3:05 in the video looking down the back of the high pressure fuel pump. That steel cap that kind of looks like the end of a wiper motor, will have a plug going into it. That's the one to disconnect.
