    Beautiful “mini” caravan. I’m in France and was looking on You Tube for mini caravans like Tabs and Barefoots. Your caravan is very big compared to a mini camper here, but lovely to have a tour of yours, thanks you. Jo in the Pyrenees 🇫🇷

    Sorry,I meant to edit my last comment not delete it lol! I just wanted to say I love your channel, we have really similiar tastes in decor (and especially the deals!) so I've watched your initial camper video several times. we just traded our very tiny 2022 Puma 12fbx for a 2023 Rockwood 2608BS (our son & dog sitter moved so we will now be traveling with our 3 large dogs lol!) You guys do a great job just being real and honest and we relate to how you interact and just how you guys do things so much lol! We are also planning on a class a (or c) when he retires, we're hoping our new camper will last us the 12 more years until then 🤞😂
    I'm so sorry to hear about Stella, I am dreading those days with ours and they are 11, 8 and 7 already. I do think it's amazing you've given another fur baby such a great life and I'm sure she is proud of you and handpicked him for you 🥰
    keep up the great videos!

      Thank you so much Kae! We really appreciate your kind words. Seems like we do have lots in common. If you ever find yourself in NH, maybe we could get together. I’d love that! Stella was amazing and we were so heartbroken when we lost her. Stanley is definitely a heart healer. Safe travels to you and all your puppies!

    Great video update on the pros and cons of your model trailer. I really enjoyed your first video, especially all the decor ideas. We also had a dirty awning which drove me nuts. After many tries using household cleaners and scrubs, we finally bought RV awning cleaner and it worked like a charm. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts and comments. Here's hoping you'll enjoy your trailer and adventures for many years to come!

      Thanks so much! We will look for the awning cleaner - Helen was actually able to get it cleaned off with a different kind of mop. We will have a short video coming up showing that. Thanks for watching!

    My 2019 minilite 2401s is very similar, first and foremost would I buy this again, unlikely mainly due to the marketing hype from Rockwood versus their actual customer service deficiencies this stems from 4 main issues, 1. The outside fiberglass panels 2 of which have separation or bubbling issues, 2. The Murphy bed has floor fiberboard issues where it has come apart from the floor, repair was estimated at 1200 dollars. 3. The dometic fridge which had intermittent problems from day one died after the warranty expired, I replaced it with a 10 cubic ft residential fridge. 4. The ladder rack screws from top to bottom pulled out of the fiberglass panels so I removed the ladder totally as I never used it at all.

      Sorry you had so many issues. We had some leaking originally, brought it to the dealer for repair and haven't had anything else happen (knock on wood).

    Thank you for your review of your Rockwood. Wife and I are at this time seriously contemplating purchasing a 25 foot front kitchen (2023) Rockwood. Your insights and evaluations help immensely. You helped take some of the second, third, and forth guessing out of our decision. As you know, Rockwoods are not the most economical tag-a-long trailer available.
    Thanks again!

    Nice and helpful review. Note on the awning: Those stains are very normal. Bugs, leaves, and just dirt collect as it is rolled up and it gets dirty. I use the same carwash liquid that I use on the rest of my RV and a long-handled brush. Gets most of it off. Pick a day when it is warm enough to get wet, because you will.

    Nice camper. One of the downsides of a 25 ft or less trailer is always the bathroom. Small and tight is the norm. Our Gulf Stream 23 ft has a similar corner bathroom with the same issues. We love Agnes and she has been very good to us for the first-year camping in it. We just had to learn how to make it work and I have added or changed things to get it right for our needs.

  • @belindaray2283

    We had the same issue with water staining on our awning. Believe it or not, the best thing we found was a cleaning product at Walmart in the RV supply section. It works well on the roof and the awning. You spray it on, wait a few minutes and rinse. Give it a try! Thanks for the video. Love the way you guys decorated the rv.😊

    Rain always gets into ends of a rolled up awning. Clean it the best you can and open it and tilt one side down after every rain because rain gets inside the tube too.

      Btw: do you have a pattern for the pouch by your beds? And cannot emphasize the comfort of having twin beds. No pulling the covers and positioning in the night. We don’t have them in our current RV but the next one will when we buy in 2024 😊

    Love this video and your decor!🌺Have same model and my biggest complaint is the weird dinette table and seating pads. Everything else is great for one person doggie! During the day I sometimes convert the bed into the twin configuration. Especially when I want to access storage underneath. Mostly I prefer the one big bed.

      We have a Flagstaff E-Pro 19 FD. In addition to covering the bright microwave light with a decorative magnet, we also placed command strip hooks over the panel controller. At night, we hang one of our hats on the hook to cover the bright lights.

    • @Blowingthestinkoff

    Hi, just purchased the 2023 version of your trailer and have loved your video. Like so many, I'm in awe of your bedroom. Do you have any issues with making the beds with the mattress so tight to the wall? I would like to get away from sleeping bags but hubby needs convincing. I'm meticulous with bed making at home so see no issue with taking the time in the trailer. We are transitioning from a hybrid with tent ends (last 20 years with our now grown children) to the current couples trailer and so I am keen to make it as lovely as yours. We have a 14 year old dog whose favorite thing is to camp so we are hoping she sees a few summer's travel in our new camper. Last question, did you do your own trim along the valance edges and change out the bedroom curtain? Love it all.
    Tina

    • @Blowingthestinkoff
      @Blowingthestinkoff  ปีที่แล้ว

      The beds aren't too bad to make. We pull the mattresses out a bit (very light) from the wall and tuck in the covers each morning. It really isn't too much trouble. We didn't do anything with the valance edges, but Helen made the trim on the curtain edge - You can see it in our decorating episode #1. Thanks for watching and the nice comments!

    Great review! Thanks!
    I've had my 2204s since March but only been out twice. It's a 2022 so have had 3!!!! recalls [propane quick connect, wifi cover, awning] which have all been cheerfully taken care of by dealer. And I have similar likes and dislikes to yours.
    Hope you don't mind a couple questions: 1. Have you had any ideas about replacing that !Q#W@ table? I absolutely hate it for the same reasons as you. I've thought about the type that sits on two aluminum tubes fitted into receivers on the floor, or just resorting to tv trays. I sometimes wish I'd gotten the sofa instead of that dinette! 2. What is your tow vehicle? I have a half ton pickup [F150] and am very conscious of weight, esp payload. 3. Lastly, how did you hang the pictures? And do they stay up? I'd love to improve the decor similar to yours.
    Anyway thanks again for the comments. Glad to see you're still enjoying the camper!

    • @helenwasher2125
      @helenwasher2125 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can answer the question about the pictures. We use command strips to hang them and they usually stay up. Once in a while, if it’s exceptionally hot, they’ll fall. I hope Joe has an answer about the table. I’d love to change it out.

    • @Blowingthestinkoff
      @Blowingthestinkoff  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Bob - Unfortunately, I'm not sure what to do with the table other than be careful when we lean on it. I had thought about drilling and attaching it to the floor but I'm not confident I'll get it right and I don't want to put holes in the trailer :). We tow with a 2020 Ram 1500. I upgraded the towing a bit by adding Pacbrake air bags in the back to help with the load leveling and make the ride a little better when it is hooked up to the trailer. I think it tows beautifully now. However, we only get 10-12 mpg.

      @@Blowingthestinkoff I don't care for recliners. I like storage. A decent size wardrobe is great. A nice fridge and separate freezer. I travel solo, but have a lot of clothes. I had the perfect trailer. Twin beds, tons of storage, a midsize comfortable sofa, no dinette. Full bath at the rear, a good size wardrobe. Unfortunately it was totalled in an Ocala Florida tornado. (EF 4) It was a Fleetwood Prowler, back when they were high quality units. I would have maintained it over the years just to keep it. I've never seen one quite like it.
