This song reminds me of The Cube from DDR MAX USA for PS2. 178 BPM and lots of cute timed little sound effects. Anyone here ever have that game back in the day?
The fact that this song is officially in DDR now is honestly pretty ironic, considering iamchris4life himself (even more ironic) previously wrote a custom chart to this exact song, and said chart was used in the ITG tournament meta for quite some time circa 2014~2016 (the chart itself is an 11 on the ITG scale, i.e.; about roughly a 16~17 on today's X-scale on DDR). It's all come full circle now with this one song lol
Yeah, this is definitely one of the easiest 15s. It's got similar drills to Gradiusic Cyber, but this one is still a much more draining chart. If it were to be rated down, it could be rated down to a mid-high 14, but I feel like it could be either-or for one of the two ratings.
That's a stretch. You can't say a 160 BPM song is similar in difficulty to a 178 BPM one for having a similar set of patterns, especially when the latter is longer and more densely stepped. The drills, if anything, are more like that of STULTI than that of GRADUISIC CYBER, and the ending definitely throws something harder than just short drills. This chart is definitely a 15.
