Neji went down once and Naruto went down multiple times, but the reason it wasn't called was Naruto could still stand up while the punch to the chin on the exhausted Neji kept him down even after the fight.
I think the last hit was a critical strike and thats why Neji was out. He was exhausted from the clash and thought he had won. And if you get hit somewhere without you realising it hurts much more than if you are ready for it. And it was a blow on his chin as well *ouch* 🤕
Tell me for 2003 this isnt insane fight choreography.. people in the anime community will hate me if they aren’t fans of naruto.. naruto definately has the best fight.. im a fan of one piece.. ive watched dragon ball.. demon slayer.. jjk.. a bunch of shonen and on and naruto some how does both emotion and fight choreography better than anyone.. its so good.. i cant wait till you get to some of the most iconic shippuden fights.. they are somehow correctly rated and over hated at the same time.. idk maybe im just tired of the naruto hate i see in the community
I think another anime you might like is My Hero Academia. Bleach was pretty cool too. And One Punch Man. And if you don't mind giant mech shows, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is what DBZ would be if DBZ were a giant mech anime.
I will say for the most part "english dubs" are cringe, but OG Naruto does english dubs like none other. For the most part they are on par if not better than the Japanese voice. Merit to the VA for OG Naruto
