I thought I only had 1 engine fragment left to find & went to the back of the Aurora. I encountered a reaper (my first full on confrontation with one) & lost my Seamoth & barely made it back to pod 5. I loaded my last save & made another attempt & scanned one fragment & then I couldn't find the Cyclops blueprint & realized I hadn't gotten the other 2 like I thought & I was so bummed about having to go back - I'm still terrified (though it's more the idea of it cuz when it happened, I was just like "this fucker!") & being a scaredy cat about exploring & think I'll feel safer with the cyclops. So thank you for saving my poor heart.

I went to the area and found 1 fragment but then i was like super low on water and i was stranded.I literally survived off of my thermoblade and when i kill fish it cooks it and gives me like 5+ h20 and i managed to get back to base because of that.I didnt get all the fragments but because of this video i tested my survival skills thx
Was so excited to beat the game until I realized I needed to build a cyclops to build the shield generator so I am now watching this video, also I had to go to three of these locations since the game don't like me and the leviathan almost killed my seamoth. But I still got it
I have carefully searched all over the first location and only found a single piece, has it been moved in a game update? I even built a scanner room to look for fragments and it's not finding them.
Found all fragments for cyclops and built it but in the crag feild i almost went into the deaszone but my sonar stopped my from going into the dead zone

I’m sorry I couldn’t help, unfortunately if you’ve checked all the other places then the only other place you can go to find frags is the crash zone, or you could try checking inside large crates inside the Aurora since fragments can spawn in there as well, though they don’t in there frequently so I hope you can to keep you from having to go to the crash zone
I let seamoth lights turn on while I was looking in the wreck.... When I went out, no more seamoth, gone with all stuff and upgrades.... As everyday, I will never play again.... Until tomorrow
Likely, you are potentially passing it as the blood kelp zone is right next to the underwater islands, try to stay near the seafloor as you move towards the wreck as it'll keep you from going past the underwater islands on accident
@@Crimxsen , why thank you. I genuinely was questioning if the Switch version of Subnautica changed some locations or spawn points but I'll give that a try tomorrow. Hopefully squid boi and Ghost Reaper don't give me a heart attack...again...
Still finding it and pda reminded me that i was hungry. Luckily i found out that the islands are near the mountain islands wich is where i have a base Edit: cyclops dont seem to hard to make. Sub earned
Sorry about that, the only other place I believe engine fragments can spawn is at/near the wrecks in the mountains biome and on the seafloor in the Mountains biome so I would try checking there but they are multiple reapers in that biome so I would be careful going over there.

Wow. I maybe have went to far. I reached the dead zone and found a ghost levianthan 🎉🎉🎉 my sea moth is now in half 500 meters below the ocean and mean while I am swimming back to base with no parts and a seclude on 5 percent

if you want the bonesharks to leave you alone bring flares, they're attracted to bright lights so turn off seamoth lights

Also if you turn your lights off, they are attracted to light. Without the lights, their line of sight is like 10m but with lights it's like 50

Tip for people viewing if u hit the bone sharks they sometimes run or die
I literally killed a few sandsharks & a boneshark with a drone camera. It takes like 60 - 70% of its health but it's easy as hell.
